NATURE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Make sure all the works are carried out with all relevant safety standards.

2. • Verification of calibration status of Equipments and Instruments at
required stage.
• Material Receiving Inspection – MTC review, Traceability, Verification
& project requirement tests with respect to purchase order and project
requirements.
• Perform Fit up, visual, dimensional inspections of Raw materials &
verification of transfer of material traceability.
• Witnessing and conducting the PQR and WQT as per ASME Sec.IX,
ASMEB31.3/AWS D1.1M etc.
• Inspection of components as per ITPS, Drawings
And Operation Process sheet.
• Monitor and ensure welding is carried out as per approved welding
procedures.
• Monitor and ensure welders used are qualified for process, position etc
as may be required by the governing code or specs.
• Controlling of welding consumables & Documents by performing weld
audit.
• Inspect weld joints of work in progress and of completed
structures/pressure vessels/piping /pipelines/tanks for visible weld
defects, correct dimensions, weld sizes, type of weld etc., in
conformance with approved drawings and work order specifications.
• Witnessing in process examination-Welding Inspection-NDE, PWHT,
Hardness testing, Delta Ferrite test,PMI test on components as per the
Purchase order and Project specification.
• Reviewing of RT Film, Weld history sheet, Test pack, Heat treatment
charts, NDE Reports with respect to weld map, Approved drawings and
Project ITP requirements.
• Witnessing hydrostatic test, Vacuum test, pneumatic testing, VPCI Test
as per the project specification/ requirements.
• Perform Inspection on Cleaning, Surface preparation, Galvanizing,
Painting, Powder coating on components, witnessed salt test, dolly-
adhesion test, holiday test, toast test & review report.
• Perform Inspection on insulation work & HVAC, review report.

3. • To rise an NCR & punch list if the product/works deviates from project
specifications and relevant standards.
• Follow up of NCRS/punch list (if any raised) to make sure corrective &
preventive actions have taken.
• As-Built drawing and verifies load out for conformity to specified
requirements /standards.
