In just the last 5 years alone, XR has seen rapid adoption and development of immersive applications that are used in many sectors from Edutainment to Medical. Looking at the state of XR today, let us compare the differences between the various immersive technologies to understand their current limitations and the sectors that they are poised to disrupt.
