I am an Associate Professor at the Distributed Computing and Systems Group at Chalmers University of Technology.
My research focuses on scalable data stream processing and its applications in context such as Smart Grids and Advanced Metering Infrastructures (for Intrusion Detection, Interaction Modeling and Data Validation), among others.
During my Ph.D. I was involved in the design and development of StreamCloud: a pioneer parallel-distributed and elastic Stream Processing Engine. My research focused on streaming operators' parallelization, load balancing, provisioning/decommissioning and fault tolerance protocol
