INTRODUCTION
• COVID-19 ( Novel Coroavirus ) is well known term right now, and everyone have
basic knowledge about it.
• COVID-19 is a disease caused by coronavirus and is acronym for Corona Virus
Disease introduced in December 2019.
• It’s causative agent is SARS-CoV-2 or 2019-nCoV and is a lethal infection or
disease.
• It is declared as pandemic by WHO, the reputed health organization of the world.
• COVID-19 testing is not readily available. There is no proper cure of this
infection.
• A novel coronavirus (COVID-19) was identified in 2019 in Wuhan, China. This is a
new coronavirus that has not been previously identified in humans.
COVID-19
• It’s an acute respiratory disease caused by a new strain of novel coronavirus,
SARS-CoV-2.
• SARS-CoV-2 is a viruse that cause illness such as respiratory diseases or
gastrointestinal diseases. Respiratory diseases can range from the common cold
to more severe diseases, such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV)
and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV).
• Coronaviruses are zoonotic, meaning that the viruses are transmitted between
animals and humans.
• The source of the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) is yet to be determined, but
investigations are ongoing to identify the zoonotic source to the outbreak.
• COVID-19 is affecting people of all ages but mainly older people and the people
with severe chronic illness. Person with weak immune system are at high risk.
Hhh
STRUCTURE
• COVID-19 caused by coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 belongs to the Betacoronavirus genus
originating from bats.
• Coronaviruses got their name from the way that they look under a microscope. The
virus consists of a core of genetic material surrounded by an envelope with protein
spikes. This gives it the appearance of a crown. The word Corona means “crown” in
Latin.
• SARS-CoV-2 is a positive-sense single-stranded RNA virus.
• The structure of COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) consists of a spike protein (S), hemagglutinin-
esterease dimer (HE), a membrane glycoprotein (M), an envelope protein (E), and a
nucleoclapid protein (N) and RNA.
MODES OF TRANSMISSION
COVID-19 can be transmitted by a variety of ways, these are listed below –
• Physical contact
• Droplets of saliva of infected people
• Discharge from nose by infected people
• Airborne transmission
• Surface transmission
CLINICAL PRESENTATION
Typically Coronaviruses present with respiratory symptoms. Among those who
will become infected, some will show no symptoms. Those who do develop
symptoms may have a mild to moderate, but self-limiting disease with
symptoms similar to the seasonal flu. Symptoms may include –
• Respiratory symptoms
• Fever
• Cough
• Shortness of breath
• Breathing difficulties
• Fatigue
• Sore throat
DIAGNOSTIC METHODS
• A COVID-19 diagnostic testing kit has been developed and is available in clinical
testing labs.
• The gold standard for testing for COVID-19 is Reverse Transcription Polymerase
Chain Reaction (RT-PCR).
• Imaging may be useful in identifying patients with COVID-19.
• Chest CT gives a much more detailed view appears to have good sensitivity in initial
stages of the disease, but imaging and chest CT is not being used.
• Lung ultrasound is also emerging as a valuable diagnostic testing procedure.
• COVID-19 can be diagnosed but the availability of testing will vary from country to
country.
• The main criteria for testing are - location, age , medical history, duration of
symptoms, exposure to virus and contact history.
PREVENTION STRATEGY
• The whole world is fighting with COVID-19 and it is realized that prevention is the best
method to tackle with it. WHO and Indian government has released guidelines for the
protection of COVID-19.
• Personal protection like wearing mask, avoid contact, stay at home, use sanitizer,
frequently wash hands, avoid touching nose, eyes and mouth, and be quarantined.
Public protection - It’s a kind of protection which can be done either by the
government or with the help of people and community.
1. Government’s plan for protection - Lockdown, social distancing, stay at home.
2. Community can serve nation as - inform police/hospital for suspected people,
distribute mask, help poor/helpless people, aware local people, update everyone.
TREATMENT INTERVENTION
• As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread across the world, killing
thousands and bringing economies to their knees, doctors, scientists and
governments are on the lookout for safe and effective treatments to help those
who are sick. And yet a large issue with COVID-19 is that there is, as yet, no
cure.
• However, there are many ongoing clinical trials evaluating potential treatments.
• Doctors, scientists and researchers are still working on it and soon they will get
success as expected. They are trying to understand the biology and hunting
mechanism of the virus.
• WHO will continue to provide updated information as soon as clinical findings
become available.
• Isolation and quarantine are being used as primary treatment.
GLOBAL SCENERIO
• Whole world is threatened of COVID-19 and dealing with different strategies.
• Cases of COVID-19 is increasing day by day and spreading rapidly all aver globe.
• Total 1991562 confirmed cases and 130885 is the total death all over world.
• USA with the best medical facility is now leading country by deaths.
• About 5 months have been passed still no vaccine discovered yet.
• After a long period any disease have caused global recession.
• India used lockdown for a long time and providing all essential requirements
with a great loss of economy.
• The provided data can be slightly different when compared to other.
• Medical department have no answer of this problem and peoples are being
counted as death rate.

INDIAN STRATEGY
• While the other countries started fighting when their many citizens found
affected with COVID-19, India stepped up when COVID-19 threatens only and
adopted all the necessary precautionary strategies.
• Indian government announced proper lockdown when inkled only of this
outbreak. Later WHO confirmed it the best decision of Indian government.
• The position of India is quite good comparatively to other countries like
America, Italy, China and other countries with great medical facility.
• Hydroxychloroquine is preferred as the medicine of this disease and India have high amount of it,
so, other countries are requesting for it and India is accepting their request.
• Now, India is again on the path to be World Master ( Vishwaguru ).
COVID WARRIORS
It’s a truth that whenever a war starts, warriors are required. Now we are in a
war with COVID-19 and we all the warriors in this war but few of us have more
responsibility, we have to stay at home and they have to be out of home. There
is a list of warriors who are out of their home and providing their service for
the nation. They are listed as –
+ Doctors
+ Healthcare workers
+ Administrativee department
+ Bankers
+ Cleanerss
POSITIVE IMPACTS
• When I talk about its impacts, it has more negative impacts than positive
impacts. When think about human beings, it is the worst period but on the
other hand if I think about environment and nature, this is a golden period. This
is the dark side of the human’s activity.
• COVID-19 has raised fingers on the working pattern of industries, factories,
laboratories and other sources that generates pollution during function. During
this lockdown we are experiencing like never before such as -
1. Pollution rate are rapidly decreasing
2. Rivers are cleaning itself
3. Earth and Nature is healing itself
4. Birds are appearing in large numbers,
5. Endangered species are being recovered.
CONFLICT
• There is a lot of conflict with no answer.
• This new strain of coroavirus (SARS-CoV-2) is introduced
intentionally by China. China used it as Bio-Weapon. This conflict is
raised after some deep analyst’s conversation on social media.
According to them China has it’s antivirals, China has covered up the
reality of it’s initial stage and original data of infected and dead
people’s.
• Tablighi Jamaat in Hazrat Nizamuddin are being reffered as the main
reason of increased cases in India of COVID-19. It is bad to know that it
was done intentionally to spread all over India. This news is more than
a conflict, it’s a traitorous work by a community and is not tolerable.
CONCLUSION
• Based on the available evidence, including different data and recent
reports, WHO updating people.
• As current situation, it can be concluded that the situation is going to be
worst.
• It’s a transmissible disease, so, peoples are requested to be aware
because their one mistake can harm a community.
• The structure of SARS-CoV-2, damaging pattern of COVID-19, reason for
origin and treatment is still undiscovered.
• Health workers are working day and night to stop this infection but
people should also be responsible.

  • 3. INTRODUCTION • COVID-19 ( Novel Coroavirus ) is well known term right now, and everyone have basic knowledge about it. • COVID-19 is a disease caused by coronavirus and is acronym for Corona Virus Disease introduced in December 2019. • It’s causative agent is SARS-CoV-2 or 2019-nCoV and is a lethal infection or disease. • It is declared as pandemic by WHO, the reputed health organization of the world. • COVID-19 testing is not readily available. There is no proper cure of this infection. • A novel coronavirus (COVID-19) was identified in 2019 in Wuhan, China. This is a new coronavirus that has not been previously identified in humans.
  • 4. COVID-19 • It’s an acute respiratory disease caused by a new strain of novel coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2. • SARS-CoV-2 is a viruse that cause illness such as respiratory diseases or gastrointestinal diseases. Respiratory diseases can range from the common cold to more severe diseases, such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV). • Coronaviruses are zoonotic, meaning that the viruses are transmitted between animals and humans. • The source of the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) is yet to be determined, but investigations are ongoing to identify the zoonotic source to the outbreak. • COVID-19 is affecting people of all ages but mainly older people and the people with severe chronic illness. Person with weak immune system are at high risk.

  • 6. STRUCTURE • COVID-19 caused by coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 belongs to the Betacoronavirus genus originating from bats. • Coronaviruses got their name from the way that they look under a microscope. The virus consists of a core of genetic material surrounded by an envelope with protein spikes. This gives it the appearance of a crown. The word Corona means “crown” in Latin. • SARS-CoV-2 is a positive-sense single-stranded RNA virus. • The structure of COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) consists of a spike protein (S), hemagglutinin- esterease dimer (HE), a membrane glycoprotein (M), an envelope protein (E), and a nucleoclapid protein (N) and RNA.
  • 7.
  • 8. MODES OF TRANSMISSION COVID-19 can be transmitted by a variety of ways, these are listed below – • Physical contact • Droplets of saliva of infected people • Discharge from nose by infected people • Airborne transmission • Surface transmission
  • 9.
  • 10.
  • 11. CLINICAL PRESENTATION Typically Coronaviruses present with respiratory symptoms. Among those who will become infected, some will show no symptoms. Those who do develop symptoms may have a mild to moderate, but self-limiting disease with symptoms similar to the seasonal flu. Symptoms may include – • Respiratory symptoms • Fever • Cough • Shortness of breath • Breathing difficulties • Fatigue • Sore throat
  • 12. DIAGNOSTIC METHODS • A COVID-19 diagnostic testing kit has been developed and is available in clinical testing labs. • The gold standard for testing for COVID-19 is Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR). • Imaging may be useful in identifying patients with COVID-19. • Chest CT gives a much more detailed view appears to have good sensitivity in initial stages of the disease, but imaging and chest CT is not being used. • Lung ultrasound is also emerging as a valuable diagnostic testing procedure. • COVID-19 can be diagnosed but the availability of testing will vary from country to country. • The main criteria for testing are - location, age , medical history, duration of symptoms, exposure to virus and contact history.
  • 13.
  • 14. PREVENTION STRATEGY • The whole world is fighting with COVID-19 and it is realized that prevention is the best method to tackle with it. WHO and Indian government has released guidelines for the protection of COVID-19. • Personal protection like wearing mask, avoid contact, stay at home, use sanitizer, frequently wash hands, avoid touching nose, eyes and mouth, and be quarantined. Public protection - It’s a kind of protection which can be done either by the government or with the help of people and community. 1. Government’s plan for protection - Lockdown, social distancing, stay at home. 2. Community can serve nation as - inform police/hospital for suspected people, distribute mask, help poor/helpless people, aware local people, update everyone.
  • 15.
  • 16. TREATMENT INTERVENTION • As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread across the world, killing thousands and bringing economies to their knees, doctors, scientists and governments are on the lookout for safe and effective treatments to help those who are sick. And yet a large issue with COVID-19 is that there is, as yet, no cure. • However, there are many ongoing clinical trials evaluating potential treatments. • Doctors, scientists and researchers are still working on it and soon they will get success as expected. They are trying to understand the biology and hunting mechanism of the virus. • WHO will continue to provide updated information as soon as clinical findings become available. • Isolation and quarantine are being used as primary treatment.
  • 17. GLOBAL SCENERIO • Whole world is threatened of COVID-19 and dealing with different strategies. • India used lockdown for a long time and providing all essential requirements with a great loss of economy. • The provided data can be slightly different when compared to other. • Medical department have no answer of this problem and peoples are being counted as death rate.
  • 18. TABLE : THIS DATA IS PROVIDED BY WHO ON 17 APRIL 12 AM COUNTRY TOTAL CONFIRMED CASE TOTAL DEATH United States of America 604070 25871 Spain 177633 18579 Italy 165155 21647 Germany 130450 3569 France 105155 17146 The United Kingdom 98480 12868 China 83797 3352 Iran 76389 4777 Turkey 69392 1518 Belgium 33573 4440 India 12380 414 GRAND TOTAL 1991562 130885
  • 19. INDIAN STRATEGY • While the other countries started fighting when their many citizens found affected with COVID-19, India stepped up when COVID-19 threatens only and adopted all the necessary precautionary strategies. • Indian government announced proper lockdown when inkled only of this outbreak. Later WHO confirmed it the best decision of Indian government. • The position of India is quite good comparatively to other countries like America, Italy, China and other countries with great medical facility. • Hydroxychloroquine is preferred as the medicine of this disease and India have high amount of it, so, other countries are requesting for it and India is accepting their request. • Now, India is again on the path to be World Master ( Vishwaguru ).
  • 20. COVID WARRIORS It’s a truth that whenever a war starts, warriors are required. Now we are in a war with COVID-19 and we all the warriors in this war but few of us have more responsibility, we have to stay at home and they have to be out of home. There is a list of warriors who are out of their home and providing their service for the nation. They are listed as – + Doctors + Healthcare workers + Administrativee department + Bankers + Cleanerss
  • 21.
  • 22. POSITIVE IMPACTS • When I talk about its impacts, it has more negative impacts than positive impacts. When think about human beings, it is the worst period but on the other hand if I think about environment and nature, this is a golden period. This is the dark side of the human’s activity. • COVID-19 has raised fingers on the working pattern of industries, factories, laboratories and other sources that generates pollution during function. During this lockdown we are experiencing like never before such as - 1. Pollution rate are rapidly decreasing 2. Rivers are cleaning itself 3. Earth and Nature is healing itself 4. Birds are appearing in large numbers, 5. Endangered species are being recovered.
  • 23. CONFLICT • There is a lot of conflict with no answer. • This new strain of coroavirus (SARS-CoV-2) is introduced intentionally by China. China used it as Bio-Weapon. This conflict is raised after some deep analyst’s conversation on social media. According to them China has it’s antivirals, China has covered up the reality of it’s initial stage and original data of infected and dead people’s. • Tablighi Jamaat in Hazrat Nizamuddin are being reffered as the main reason of increased cases in India of COVID-19. It is bad to know that it was done intentionally to spread all over India. This news is more than a conflict, it’s a traitorous work by a community and is not tolerable.
  • 24. CONCLUSION • Based on the available evidence, including different data and recent reports, WHO updating people. • As current situation, it can be concluded that the situation is going to be worst. • It’s a transmissible disease, so, peoples are requested to be aware because their one mistake can harm a community. • The structure of SARS-CoV-2, damaging pattern of COVID-19, reason for origin and treatment is still undiscovered. • Health workers are working day and night to stop this infection but people should also be responsible.
