This report is created at the end of each fiscal year and posted to our web site. This report is the most recent version which was published August 31, 2012.
Over the ten-year period 01/02-11/12, WKKF has had a 20% reduction in staff while at the same time increasing the diversity of its staff by 28%.
Most diverse group = Program Officers & Managers Least diverse group = Other Exempt Professionals (Analysts, Assistants To, Exempt Specialists) – includes many highly-tenured white women who have been promoted.
People of color representation has increased in every job category over the last ten years except for PO’s and PM’s
Although WKKF is 76% women, the executive and director job categories include less than 60% women, and the Board is less than 35% women.
While the representation of women at the higher levels has increased over the last ten years, it still remains below the overall representation of women within the organization (76%).
Our total organization workforce demographics closely match national population statistics. Most of our job categories have people of color representation that exceeds the population statistics in the most of the areas where we work (does not include new place-based work in Mississippi and New Mexico).
