18. HIV and AIDS caregivers travel to neighboring villages to care for those affected. With a bicycle, they reach 5 times as many patients.

19. Bicycles and bike-ambulances are of great assistance to those living with HIV and AIDS in rural Malawi.

23. Local Committees are raising awareness and funds to support refugee girls’ education in Kenyan camps, using light-themed events, like flashlight mobs.

24. WUSC is providing solar lamps, after school classes and, finally, scholarships for promising girls to go to secondary school

33. For almost 65 years, WUSC’s annual International Seminar has provided Canadian students with their first in-depth experience in a developing country. The goal is to engage a group of about 20 Canadian students and 20 host country students in collaborative community projects.
