1. Link Customer with Resource
Linking of client with resource results in multiple benefits. Like assigning task, follow up for renewals,
customer visit and many others.
Below process help you to link your multiple clients with resources using excel import utility which very
simple in nature.
If your customer is not aligned with any of your resources then it comes in Unassigned Category.
List of unassigned clients.
Log in to To portal
Go to My Customer
Customer Dashboard
It will open below screen
Click on Customer Base, it will open resource wise customer allocated windows as shown below.
Here you can seed 11 numbers of Customer are Un assigned i.e not assign to any of our Resources so we
have to assigned to our Listed resource.
Click on Customer Count to see the details of Customers.
2. Here we need only Tally Serial number of Clients to link with our Resources so just copy these
Tally Serials.
Process of Linking Un assigned Customer.
Log in to To portal
Go to My Customer
Customer Search
On clicking of customer sear below screen appear and here we have to click on “Link customer to
resource”
On clicking of Link customer to resource a new popup windows will appear which help you in download
sample excel format and link the clients. Click on Download excel format.
3. On click it will open a excel format which is already arrange as per prescribed manner only you have to
enter
Customer serial
Resource email id registered with Tally portal.
We have arrange the sheet with our unassigned customer serial and our resource email id as Shown
below.
Now we are ready with sheet we can go for Import. Follow the below process to upload this sheet.
Log in to To portal
Go to My Customer
Customer Search
Click on Link Customer to resource
Click on browse button in new window and locate file
It will read the excel file in case of more records it will save time and shows the number records
your sheet have as shown in image below.
As we have 11 Un assigned clients so it shows 11 and now click on import a success message will come
and your un assigned client will link to resource.
4. Let’s have a look in our customer dashboard to check whether our Un assigned clients link to Resource?
Congratulation your Un assigned Customer count is Zero.

5. Working with CSE Task
Let’s understand the process of how we can assign task to our Executives and Executives follow
the assign task.
Open Tally Partner portal
Click on My Customers
Create CSE Task.
On Clicking on this a new task window will appear kind of helper which makes task creation process
simple and powerful.
There are multiple criteria to filter your client list for creating task. Below are some Guide on criteria
available.
Product : Select which product customer you targeting for task creation like Tally, TS9, Shoper 9.
Flavor : Silver ,Gold or auditor Customer you want to Target.
Release : You targeting upto which release of Client base.
TSS Status : Active or Expired what kind customer you targeting for TASK.
It is designed in simplest way so you can select rest of the things as per your Plan. Selection of all Criteria
is Optional
Resource: It is mandatory to select resource to whom you want to assign task.
6. Number of Customers: Enter of number of Customer with given criteria want to allocate to selected
resource as a task. The maximum you can assign 100 clients.
Here we have enter 10 Customer and now we click on Generate
On Click of Generate button a new task window will appear which will show you some important
criteria given with button of Submit. Here you have to click on submit.
Click on Submit and now your task has been assigned to Resource.
Assigned CSE Task
Open Tally Partner portal
Click on My Customers
Click on CSE Task Dashboard.
7. CSE Pending: Task Assign to Executive but not Closed . As we have just now assign
10 task so it is coming in Pending
CSE Created: Total CSE Task create under given period include Pending Task Also.
CSE Completed: It shows total CSE task completed by our Executives.
By using multiple filter you can categorized CSE Task.
8. Updating Customer Profile
Assign User Rights
Users cannot update the customer profile unless and until the proper rights given to them.
Below are the screen shot of Sample right given to Users.

*All these 3 selected rights must require by Users to alter customer profile
“>” Help to move selected facility to already allowed side.
9. “>>” Help to move all left side facility to already allowed side.
“<”Help to revoke selected facility of already allowed side to disallow side (Left).
“<<” Help to move all right side facility to already allowed side.
Working with Customer Management
To update any Client Profile go to below path shown in image. i.e Customer Search
Click on Filter button
Enter Tally Serial Number and click on show as shown in below image.
It will show the Customer belongs to given serial number.
10. Click on Option button in Middle right side. (Mark by arrow).
Click on Display detailed View.
Click on Action button in Right side and click on Edit account Profile details shown by arrow.
11. ON clicking on edit account profile details below screen appear and we have to update all the
information here only.
Below are mandatory Filed like for Demographic Profile Update
o Organization Name
o Mobile Number
o Contact Name
o Business Segment
Don’t Forget to click on Save Button so that updated information get save and you get successful
message.
