1. Blogger:
I have used Blogger throughout my
coursework in order to present my
research, planning and evaluation posts.
Instead of just using plain text to present
these posts, it allowed me to embed other
technologies, making my work more
super visual.
Google Docs:
I used Google docs in order to create a
survey to gather information which I sent
out to a range of people.
Microsoft Word:
I used this technology in order to create
certain posts to make them appear more
visual and interactive.
Bubbl/ Mapmyself:
I used Bubbl and Mapmyself to create
online interactive mindmaps to brainstorm
ideas in responses to certain blogs posts
and then embed them onto my blog.
Final Cut Express:
I used Final Cut Express mainly
throughout the construction of my music
video so I could edit and piece together
the footage that had been shot. It is a
straight forward software to use and
creates a very professional final looking
piece.
Prezi:
I used Prezi to create an interactive
presentation to make it more interesting
for viewers which allowed me to embed
videos and images into it to create an
effective presentation.
2. Apple Mac:
I used a Mac in order to complete the
majority of my work on. Mainly importing
footage and clips and using Final Cut
Express to edit together my music video
and to construct my digipack and advert
on Photoshop.
Stage lighting kit:
This was used in order to create a
specific lighting effect to use in the music
video and advert so a specific mood was
created. It was easy to use due to the
buttons on the back allowing us to
change the functions and colouring of the
lights.
Digital SLR Camera – Cannon
1100d:
We used a Cannon 1100d camera for
multiple tasks of shooting the footage for
our music video and taking the images
needed for the digipack and also the
advert. We chose to use this instead of
an ordinary camcorder due to the high
quality it possessed.
Facebook:
Facebook was a good choice of
technology as it allowed me to upload
and share my music video so that I could
receive feedback from multiple people
which were part of my target audience.
SD memory card reader:
Seeing as the Macs didn’t have a
memory card slot, one of these had to be
used to import the footage and images.
