3. My story
I’m Will
I have run a self-improvement
and business show on
Youtube for ~3 years
Started from zero.
Struggled with
monetization & growth
I thought I knew about the
internet, but I was
shocked!
I went out there to learn the
truth about the “online
world”
4. I went crazy with my learning
(thousands of hours of research)
I discovered:
hundred and hundreds of
social media influencers
making more than a good
living
thousands of people making a
thriving living without
social media teaching what
they loved
They had a FREE
lifestyle
It’s one thing to make a lot of
money but it’s another to
have the freedom to travel
the world, retire your
family, and take a weekday
off.
5. They did it by teaching what they already
were interested in
Any interest under the sun:
horse tai chi, tarot card reading, juggling, how to
get 5-figure speaking engagements,
homemade crafts, organic food, fitness, etc.
They taught what they already loved through
digital courses, eBooks, coaching, etc.
What have you
overlooked that could
be taught?
If you find yourself reading
fashion magazines 2 hours
a day or organizing your
room for fun -> Can it be
turned into a side job or
online service/product?

11. If you test this
out with your
interests, you will
find people
online
Any niche
If you look at almost any topic, the
top people are making a thriving
living online through what I’m about
to teach
12. Why do so many people
sell through digital
products?
13. Because it’s profitable and
scalable.
No more 9 to 5 work.
No more trading hours for
dollars.
Money is more automated.
14. You can leverage your
time. Most of the hard work
is done up front. Then, you
can automate a lot of it.
15. Because it’s more fun.
You can sell something you
actually enjoy doing and
already know how to do
16. Don’t worry
I’ll teach you later on how to find
out what you already know that
can be taught and sold
Coming up.
18. Some numbers
to hit $100,000
There’s many ways to hit 6
figures.
eBooks: 5,000 at $20 each (Sell just
13 a day)
Low tier video course: 500 at $200
each (Sell less than 2 a day)
Mid tier course/program: 200 at
$500 a day (Sell 1 every 2 days)
High tier: 50 at $2000 (Sell 1 every
week)
Audio programs, coaching, group
calls, etc.
You can do many of these things at
once
19. Also, you will be positioned
as an expert and get all
sorts of unexpected
bonuses (contacts to write
for high level blogs,
interviews, etc.)
20. What no one tells you:
Huge back-end
opportunity. Once they buy,
they are more likely to buy
more.
21. A buyer’s list is
worth 25 to 50x
more than a list
of fans
People don’t know this
Julian is a jazz piano teacher who
sold a digital eBook online
(themusicalear.com). One day, his
back was against the wall because
his child was now born. By
cultivating and selling to his list of
previous buyer’s he got a ton more
sales and saved his family’s well-
being. You have now just saved
years of time Julian missed out on by
learning this.
22. I was Excited but
not sure what to
do
Maybe you are here right now?
What do I do now?
How do I grow an audience? Is my
audience big enough?
How do I package it? I can’t program!
What’s the right price? What about
pricing strategies?
How do I sell without my audience
getting mad?
AAHHH!
23. I’m going to teach it to you
I learned from all the best people at
doing this. I did extensive research
from the best online businesses at
doing this.
I have taken the best of what I
learned from extensive testing.
From many different sources.
24. Kimra Luna: Made 7 Figures
in her first year teaching
about online marketing.
Retired her husband from
UPS.
29. What sells?
Outcomes: Solves a pain (preferably
a big pain or problem), concrete
result, something they REALLY want,
or a positive goal they want
Examples: lose 30 pounds, earn more
money, make more sales, dating
success
Concrete how to formula. No
ambiguity. No confusion
Coaching -> Services. If you have
helped people through 1 on 1
coaching before you can convert that
into a more scalable, distributable
digital product
Narrowing down your niche helps a
lot: Rather than everyone who does
fitness, how about 20 to 30 year old
women who want only to lose
weight.
30. What to avoid
Making your audience too broad:
You end up speaking to nobody when
you please everyone.
Be wary of age differences. A 50 year
old man is much different in his
goals/opinions than a 25 year old.
Avoid being too general, broad,
confusing or having no specific
outcome that solves a BIG pain or
problem they really want.
31. Narrowing your
audience topic
Valuable information
Narrowing your niche and topic to a
specific demographic can end up
getting you more sales at a higher
price
Example: How to get fit - $97 (no
sales)
versus
How to get six pack abs for 25 to 30
year old men who work in IT - $397
(lots of sales) - people know you as a
specialist
32. Another example
People assume you have more
experience and skills when you
narrow down and specialize
How to succeed at life
vs.
How to succeed at business
vs.
How to succeed at business for men
starting out for the first time (it still
has a large enough market but is
quite narrow. Could be even more
narrow. You don’t need a million
customers to make a ton of money)
33. Step 2: Idea Generation Technique
Ask people you know (family and
friends as well as acquaintances):
What am I good at?
What do you see me always good at?
Ask yourself:
What are the most commons
problems and questions people come
to me for help with?
If you have a following online
already, what are the most popular
pieces of content you have?
What are others selling in my topic
online?
34. What I did: My own examples:
People asked me questions on
relationships and success principles.
Find common questions people ask
you. These are their problems that
they want solved and some are
willing to pay for it.
What I found easiest doing that no
one else did was learn about
business, success habits, wealth
creation, and online business.
I spent my free time reading books of
the most successful people in the
world.
I had extensive knowledge in that
area.
35. Note: Don’t seek out too much information!
You will be overwhelmed
You can be overwhelmed and get
what they call “analysis paralysis” if
you seek out too much information
on this topic.
That’s why you need a step by step
simple guide.
36. Step 3: Idea Validation
See if there’s a market.
If there are others out there selling
courses already on your topic, that is
a GOOD thing. It means people are
willing to pay for this. Don’t be
scared off. This is great validation.
What if you can’t find a product out
there like yours?
First, do more research. More often
than not, it is simply because you
have not done enough digging.
37. What if you have done a TON of research and you still
can’t find any products on your topic?
It could mean you are doing
something new and innovative. And
you get the lion’s share of the
market.
Or, more likely, it could mean that
maybe there’s demand for this.
Look to semi-related products out
there. If it’s somewhat related, there
could be a reason this product exists
and your’s doesn’t. Maybe it is
because what they made is what
people are actually willing to buy.
Go out to people and see if there is a
passionate response when you give
them content on your topic.
38. Duplicate past success
If you have online presence already,
you can find your most popular posts
of all time and see what topics they
are on.
You can duplicate that and make
more content on those topics. These
topics may be what people are most
drawn to and interested in. ->
Potential product ideas
39. Proper Idea Validation
Find communities filled with your
ideal customer. These could be
online forums or places on social
media.
Survey them on their big problems or
burning issues. These are the things
that are at the top of the mind and
more likely something they would
pay to have solved.
When you start out, don’t mention
anything about a course or product.
Don’t mention you have something
to sell. Get a real gauge or interest.
We will get to selling later. But as a
note: Selling doesn’t have to be slimy
or sleazy! As the billionaire investor
Peter Thiel says bad cheesy salesman
give selling a bad name. The good
salesman make it a win-win. It’s a
product that actually REALLY HELPS
the customer.
40. Surveys work great
If you already have an audience, you
can use a free survey tool like Wufoo
to survey them.
Great for collecting email addresses.
Email lists are the best way of
keeping in touch, developing your
relationship, and letting them know
about your product.
With social media, you have to hope
they will see your latest post
amongst the ocean of competing
people in their feed
Ask them what are the biggest
questions that they want answers
too.
41. Pro Tip
Start capturing emails
Start growing an email list of your
ideal customers for the topic you are
interested in.
Very helpful for the future.
One Method: Freebie (free guide or
video or tip if you join my
newsletter)
42. Step 4.
Promotion
You can get them to come to you.
Rather than going out to reach
others, you can also promote your
own content so that people find you.
(social media, email lists, etc.)
43. Step 5. Actually
listen.
Listen to everything they say and
write it down.
The language and information they
tell you is vital.
Find out what they’re uncomfortable
telling you. (example: I want to lose
weight to look good)
Can help you sell more later on when
you use the exact language they do
when they describe their pains
44. Seemingly
simple concepts
are foreign to
them.
You forget how much of an
expert you’ve become.
Sometimes, you become so good at
what you know that you forget
about how it was like to be a
beginner. Simple concepts to you are
now foreign to a beginner. You can
learn this stuff by listening.
45. Some things to
address
You can do this. The first step is
to believe.
You don’t need a large email list or
large fanbase to start making money.
You have skills and interests that
you take for granted that people
value and would pay for.
46. How could an
extra $1000 a
month change
your life?
That extra income could be life-
changing to some of you.
Start small. Let’s focus on your first
$1 made. Celebrate the small wins.
Those are sometimes the toughest.
Getting the ball rolling once it has
already started is oftentimes easier.

make my free content
