  1. 1. Brief | MARKETERS Background There are almost 8000 children in institutional care in the Czech Republic. Most of them are emotionally deprived. They need love and hugs so much more than anyone else. Good Fairies (DOBRÉ VÍLY) have helped children in several orphanages since 2015. We meet them every week, so we know each child’s life story. We know their hobbies, what they like and what worries them. We give them our love and time, which they need much more than toys. Currently, we cooperate with 12 orphanages. We help with school preparation; we organize leisure time activities, camps, ski courses, cultural and educational events outside the orphanages. Weekly we visit children in the following homes: DD Olomouc, DD Mladá Boleslav, DD Nové Strašecí, DD Ústí nad Labem, DD Dolní Počernice, DD Pyšely, DD Zruč nad Sázavou, DD Ledce, DD Tišnov, DD Krnsko, DD Hranice na Moravě and DD Přerov. Our main aim: Individual help We try to meet the needs and requests of each children's home and each child in need. We work together with the children's home management and the children themselves. We ask them what they like, what bothers them, what they need help or advice. Then we adjust and develop our activities accordingly to suit them. Regular program The programme of regular weekly visits is adjusted according to each orphanage’s and individual child‘s needs. We play different games, talk with the kids, help them with their school studies, even read bedtime stories for them. We build trust We spend a lot of time outdoors whenever possible. We talk to the older children and listen to each other. We build mutual trust and friendly relationships to ensure the children can contact us, Good Fairies, at any time . After leaving the children's home one day, we want to become a stable, solid anchor in their lives, inside and later on also outside of the orphanages. • We visit - 12 children's homes regularly • We help - children to improve their personal development • We organize- sports, cultural and social activities • We arrange - summer camps and weekend stays • We support - foster parents and single-parent families
  2. 2. Category Brief 2020 What’s the Ambition? Develop a product or service that assists Good Fairies in their quest for more Good Fairy volunteers. This year Good Fairies cooperate with 12 orphanages. In some homes, we have a stable team of volunteers; the other orphanages are visited just by individuals, and some orphanages only join us for the camps or weekend stays but have not been able to provide them with regular visits.“Our homes“are in central Bohemia, Usti nad Labem region, Olomouc region and south Moravia region. We are looking for volunteers all over the Czech Republic. Who is the target audience? Everyone. New enthusiastic volunteers with a sense of humour and a big heart. The age does not matter; young students as well as grandmas can become a Good Fairy. They are aged over 18 and must be interested in other people and empathetic, have a sense of humour, be happy to dedicate their time to children. No professional training is required, although experts from all sectors are welcome. A willingness for long-term cooperation would be desirable. What is the Campaign Challenge? The goal of the campaign is to find at least 30 new volunteers who will regularly visit children in orphanages by 30.9.2022. And to bring love and joy into more children's lives. Our goal and wish are to show children that someone is interested in them and wants to know what they think, what they do and how they feel. What is the current Key message? A Hug Is More Than a Toy! “We can not influence what the children have gone through, but we want them to believe that they can live happy lives. We would like each child in every orphanage to have their very own Good fairy.” Children in the orphanages miss individual attention and care. Good Fairies give their time, interest and love. Join us, support the children who were not lucky at the beginning of their lives. What is our Tone of voice? Caring, friendly, funny. The current motto of our volunteers is ‘I am a Fairy, dude!’ What is our Budget? Because of the war in Ukraine, our donations have become significantly cut. That is why we do not have any budget now, but we have enough energy, enthusiasm and friends to organically share the campaign via social networks, influencers and our friendship-based media contacts. We understand the money is needed somewhere else. We also support the kids who have to flee their country and homes.
