10) Vrindavan Society - Thane
Vrindavan Society in Thane West, is one of the most popular and centrally located housing societies in
Thane. From luxurious apartments to beautiful views the society is best in its class. The society has more
than 100’s of apartments along with clubs, restaurants, dry cleaners available in the area. Some years
ago a man committed suicide in building no. 66B of the society and since then paranormal activities
have been reported countless number of times in this society.
2. 9) GP Block - Meerut
GP Block Meerut is one of the abandoned places in India and it said that usually 4 guys are sitting inside
the house drinking beers with a single lighted candle. This is a very common sight for all of the nearby
passers and some have also said to have witnessed girls in red dress coming out of the house.
Nowadays, people have stopped going over that route and is definitely one of the most haunted places
of India.

place of Hyderabad is very famous for its paranormal activities. It is been said that the film city is built on
the War Grounds of Nizam Sultans. Incidents like light men sitting on top with lights been pushed have

The Lambi Dehar Mines in Mussoorie is one of the most haunted place in India and at night some
strange sounds fill the area. Since 1990, when nearly half a million workers died of coughing blood
because of improper mining, natural forces have totally taken over the place. Strange incidents like
Helicopter Crashing, Bus Accidents and many more have been reported and it is said that there is a
witch that walks down the hill at night.
5. 6) The Shaniwarwada Fort - Pune
The Shaniwarwada Fort is one of the oldest forts in Maharashtra and was built in 1746. It is said that the
fort has been haunted by young prince who was brutally killed by his own relatives and during full moon
the level of paranormal activities increases to the maximum. It is said that at night the young prince
sounds of shrieking violently can be heard and many locals gather at night to hear the prince’s scream.

6. 5) Dow Hill - Kurseong
Dow Hill in Kurseong is a small townships famous for best boarding schools in West Bengal. It is one of
the most beautiful hills of Darjeeling but it is said that the Dow Hill Boarding School for Girls and Schools
Corridors are the center of supernatural activities whereas the surrounding forest have been haunted by
a headless boy who appears and disappears into the forests. It is believed that many murders have
taken place here and that’s the main reason behind the haunting of this place
7. 4) D’Souza Chawl Mahim - Mumbai
D’Souza Chawl in Mahim is considered to be one the most haunted places in India. Locals say that a
women while filling the water from a well fell into it as there was no boundary and died crying for help
in the well. At night, the lady is seen around the well haunting the surrounding place but as per local
residents she does not harm anyone and disappears as soon as the sun comes up.
8. 3) Agrasen ki Baoli - Delhi
Agrasen ki Baoli constructed by Maharaja Agrasen in 14th
century located near Connaught Place is a
historical step well in Delhi protected by the Archaeological Survey of India. At one point the step well
was filled with black water which used to hypnotize people to commit suicide in the well but now it is
completely dry.

Dumas Beach once a burning ghat and now a beach near Surat is one of the most terrified place of India.
This beach is usually flooded with Surati peoples during daytime but after Sunset no one prefers a stay
here. May people have lost their lives here and if stories are to be believed than after midnight if
someone is strolling on the beach, he is faced with some of the most terrified scenes and is warned not
to cross a certain line on the beach. Some people have been mysteriously disappeared and have never

10. 1) Bhangarh Fort - Rajasthan
Bhangarh Town is one of the scariest place to visit in India and for a fact, this town is the only place
recognized as the “Haunted Place” by the Government of India. The Archaeological Survey of India has
placed a board on the fort gate stating that it is strictly prohibited to stay in the town after sunset and
before sunrise and whoever tried to stay inside has never been found. The story of the fort revolves
around a wizard named Scindia who was adept in black magic and fell in love with the princess of
Bhanghar. Being a master of dark magic he decided to cast a spell on her to make her surrender to him
but the princess found a way to kill him. Before he died he cursed that Bhangarh would be destroyed
soon and no one will be able to live in it. Today, Bhangarh Town is one of the most terrified place in in
not only India but whole of the World.
