Men : women = 3 : 1 Etiology: presence of stones (calcium oxalate, calcium phosphate). ● urinary tract infection urinary tract infection caused by invasion of a microorganism, bacteria, and others. Men > women (because the female urethra is shorter) 40-50% of women at least have experienced UTI Incidence of UTI in men over 50 years. Etiology: Bacteria (E. Coli).
  3. 3. ● acute gastroenteritis type of acute diarrhea caused by a microorganism. Male = female At the age of children and old age. Etiology : E Coli Adenovirus, protozoa, hookworm. ● Ovulation pain Pain in the lower abdomen associated with ovulation. This condition occurs usually in the middle of the 14-day menstrual cycle. Female > Male Etiology : Idiopathic.
  4. 4. ● Ureterolithiasis clinical symptoms Abdominal pain in the right lower quadrant can spread to the medial thigh, increased blood pressure, increased respiration, increased pulse, increased temperature. Ph of urine = acid ● urinary tract infection clinical symptoms discomfort Heartburn, Dysuria , urgency, polykisuria, subfebrile. Ph urine = alkaline
  5. 5. ● acute gastroenteritis Clinical Symptoms Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, fever, diarrhea, bowel movements are often bloody. ● Ovulation pain Clinical Symptoms Pain on one side of the lower right abdomen, vaginal bleeding cramps.
