I.
Animal Act 1953 (Revised 2006) and animal (Importation) Order 1962 [Section 5(1)]
Entry of live animals and birds including the products thereof such as meat, eggs, feathers, dung
and others is prohibited except with an import permit from Department of Veterinary Services.
II.
Animal Rules 1962 [Section 88]
No person shall export any animal and bird or the carcass of animal and bird or products
thereof with license in that behalf issued under this act and accordance with the condition of
such license and such condition as many prescribe.
