BEST idea & WORST idea
 Form groups of 3 students
 You have 10 minutes to generate as many
ideas as you can to solve the problem on the
board, and then write your BEST idea on a
piece of paper, and your WORST idea on
another piece of paper.
Hand me all the BEST ideas.
BEST idea & WORST idea
 Go back to your initial groups
 You have 5 minutes to improve
someone else’s WORST idea so it
becomes a GOOD idea…
Class will vote to choose the most
successful group.
Points to Take Away
Even the worst ideas can be turned into good ones
There are “no bad ideas” or “impossible tasks”.
 Ideas are not just good or bad, with the right
mindset you can look at most ideas or situations and
find something valuable to do.
It is better not to do what is an “automatic next
step” but to stop and look for creative options.
