November 7th, 2015 Extra Life 24 Hour Marathon
2015 Is Over! Bring On 2016!
Our Extra Life 2015 24 Hour Marathon was a huge success! Thank you each and
every one of you for all of your support. 2015 was an amazing year not only for our
team but for all of Extra Life! Thanks to you our team raised $2,493.00! Currently
Extra Life is counting the remaining donations that they received for 2015 and it’s
somewhere around $8 Million for 2015! This is the most we have raised yet! This
also means since Extra Life’s inception in 2008 we have raised a total of $21 Mil-
lion #ForTheKids!
The Breakdown
On game day there were 10 of us participating. The gamers are:
Bill, CJ, Cody, James, Jimmy, Joe, John, Logan, Nathan, and Todd
We had a ton of fun playing games for your entertainment this year! This time we
stayed up the entire 24 hours! During the live streaming we had people watching
all day long up until the final hours of the marathon! This was the biggest year for
us, and I can only imagine it will continue to grow. We really do appreciate all the
support and help that we received for this event. Thank you to all of our sponsors
for making this event a huge success and special thanks to Target 2476 from Can-
ton Marketplace for providing meals for the team so that we could continue gam-
ing hard to raise money for our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital!

2. 24 Hour Marathon!
On November 7th, 2015 10 members got together to play their favor-
ite games for 24 hours.
This year we did things differently where each member got to choose
what they wanted to play during their 2 hour time slot. This made
setup between games a lot easier to manage so that we had more
time to play.
Since Zyaldar (Todd) has been streaming on a regular basis, our
knowledge about streaming has become much more than our first
ever stream back in 2013 where it was a laptop and webcam pointed
at the TV screen. This year we had the proper equipment to give our
audience the top viewing experience possible. Next year our plans
will be greater and we cannot wait to show off everything we have
learned to you!
Team Stats
For 2015 we raised $2,493.00!
And we have 20 members!
We were so close to our goal! 83%
I know 2016 we can hit it easy!
We actually had 2 members break
off from our team. Even though we
are sad to see them leave, they
went and made teams themselves
and recruited more members! In
the grand scheme of things the
ultimate goal is to help the kids!
Upcoming Events!
Extra Life 2016 will be November
5th! This is another 25 hour mara-
thon since it falls on Daylight Sav-
ings!

3. Blue Hair!
You guys did it! I reached
my goal of raising over
$1000! So that means I now
have blue hair! And yes this
is permanent and probably
won’t come off until I shave
it off. Thank you everyone
for helping me reach this
goal as it’s a huge milestone
for me. Next year I want to
continue to do fun and crea-
tive incentives like this. It’s a
lot of fun and a great conver-
sation starter! I have even
met a couple fellow local
Extra Lifers because of the
hair!

Members of the Blades with Santa!
Santa Toy Drive
The last and final event of 2015 was a Santa Toy Drive! Huge thanks to Santa and all
his helpers for helping us pull off this amazing event! Thanks to you, we raised $139 in
donations and pictures with Santa and also a huge box full of toys for the kids spending
Christmas at the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
This event was very last minute as we didn’t have a whole lot of time to spread the news
but we were approached by a local neighborhood that wanted to pull this off for the kids
to meet and take pictures with Santa. They wanted to help a local charity and they were
very eager to help The Winged Blades and their efforts for Children’s Healthcare of At-
lanta. This was such a fun event and everything went so well that they want to do this
again for next year!
