● Outcome: The girl finally agreed to

Definition:
Something meant to get you to do or believe something.
If you’re not sure you want to go somewhere, your
friend might use persuasion to talk you into it.

● The monster appear
● Character A decide to defeat the
monster, but Character B can’t do it.
● Character A persuade character B by
threaten her with her family.
● Character A is successfully persuaded
Character B to fight the monster.

● A monster appear
● The three characters think that the
monster is evil
● They successfully defeated the monster
and bound it up
● They realised that the monster is not evil
as they though and they released it.
21. How is Upward Counterfactual Thinking
portrayed?
● The moment they realized it was not an
evil monster, they felt a sense of
remorse for their actions.
● They thought “if only we did not do that,
we would have been good friends” and
that worsened their mood a little bit.
● Outcome: Monster does not feel
offended and all four of them become
good friends.

Definition:
A process of reciprocal stimulation or response between two or
more people. It develops competition, interaction, influences social
roles and status and people for social relationships.

● A battle with the monster that appeared.
● They won the war and successfully
bound up the monster.
● The monster started to explain that he
does not like hurting people, and that he
is only travelling around.
● Therefore, they apologized and made
friends with the monster.
