Description Carnival Corporation and PLC is a British-American registered
multinational cruise company, and the world's largest cruise ship operator
headquartered in Miami, Florida US and Southampton, England UK . It comprises of 11
individual cruise brands operating in different countries with a combined fleet of 100
ships.
Currently the customer is on Oracle Applications 11i with two different instances for
maintaining their Financial System. All their operating companies use their own legacy
systems for most of the day to day business transactions like their customers booking
cruise tickets, payments etc through their web portal. These entries from the legacy
systems are interfaced to the EBS. Apart from being just as a financial system, many
other day to day business transactions are also carried out in EBS.
Customer has decided to move to Oracle applications R12 by Re Implementation with
single instance. The project involves remediating the 11i Interfaces, Customizations to
R12 along with Conversions for master and open transaction data migration. It has over
130 inbound/outbound interfaces in GL, AR, AP, CE and PO.

Responsibilities • Prepare MD070 for the Interface/Customization solutions assigned to me.
• SOA was used for interfaces and we had a separate offshore SOA development
team. Coordinate with them for the initial understanding and development of the
requirements.
• Prepare UTP, MD120 and migrate the solutions to CRP(Conference Room Pilot)
Instance for business testing with the help of our Onsite team.
• Incorporate any additional requirements reported by the business after it gets
approved from the Carnival Change Control Board and updated in the MD050.
• Raise SR with oracle for any technical issues which we face during development.
