Rule 1 ,[object Object],Surf regularly together with your child. Parents and children can learn a lot from each other.

Rule 2 ,[object Object],Set up clear rules about the use of computers and the Internet, such as the time that they can spent online.

Rule 3 ,[object Object],This is the most safest way to know what a child is doing on the internet. A parent / guardian / friend can supervise the child as they are using the internet.

Rule 4 ,[object Object],Teaching a child not to give out any personal information such as their address, telephone number or e-mail address is a good way of staying safe on the internet

Rule 5 ,[object Object],Teaching a child to use their own instincts is good way for a child to ask for help / assistance / guidance on any matter

Rule 6 ,[object Object],Control your children's online activity with advanced internet software e.g. setting parental control so that it can help you filter out harmful content, monitor the sites your child visits and find out what they do there.

Rule 7 ,[object Object],If your child visit chat rooms, online video games, or other activities on the Internet that require a login name to identify themselves, help them choose that name and make sure it doesn't reveal any personal information about them.

Rule 8 ,[object Object],Teaching your children to respect others online and always give a positive attitude towards other online individuals.

Rule 9 ,[object Object],Encourage children to enjoy the online community and share their internet experiences with you.

Rule 10 ,[object Object],Teach your child to never meet anyone from the internet is essential. Children can easily be mislead.
