Most citizens are ready for AI, provided government
agencies implement it responsibly and to improve
user experiences for their constituents. And the
benefits can be game-changing.
We suggest decision makers in government, public
service agencies, and digital government programs
consider the following when looking to leverage AI:
1) Be clear and transparent about how AI will make it
easier to get information or apply for services
2) Demonstrate how virtual agents can reduce
traditional wait times
3) Employ AI interfaces that citizens are already
comfortable using, e.g. digital home assistants
