National Franchise Report showed that in May 2015, U.S. franchise employment grew by 27,640 jobs with restaurants accounting for over 8,600 new jobs and auto parts and dealers adding 2,400 jobs. The report also detailed employment changes in 15 industries with 6 industries gaining jobs such as food retailers and business services, while 6 industries lost jobs including real estate and manufacturing.
