  7. 7. What Is The Get It Done Formula? • The Get it Done Formula is a 4 module course to help you become more Time Wealthy and Wise! This system was created to give you the foundational skill sets and tools to build a home-based business with a strong, solid foundation. This course should be implemented over a 4-week period of time. Each week a new module should be incorporated in your business. At the end of the 4 weeks, you should have an organized system in place, which includes A Daily Method of Operation and Accountability, to make your balancing business and personal life more effortless.
  8. 8. The Formula: Planning + Organization + Implementation + Accountability = Effective Time Management The Get It Done Formula The 4-Pillars Planning Organization Implementation Accountability
  9. 9. FREE Training Module 1| Planning What is going to be covered: • Creating Your Game Plan • Planning • Goal Setting • Knowing Your Numbers • The Power Of Focus • How To Plan A Successful Week
  10. 10. Creating Your Game Plan • Planning is critical to have an effective daily method of operation. It all begins with a game plan. Your game plan includes Goal Setting, Knowing Your Numbers and Creating Focus. • Create A Business Plan complete with Vision Statement with Income Goals and Marketing Goals. • Business Plan Example • Purchase A Journal or Day Planner  Keep a portable hard copy to write your daily tasks from your master planning grid (Module 2)  Tax purposes
  11. 11. Goal Setting • Setting Income and Marketing Goals-  First, you have to set an Income Goal  Then Write It Down! - A Goal Not Written Down Is Simply Just A Wish.  Drill Down That Goal • Begin With A Yearly Goal => • Drill Down To A Monthly Goal => • Ultimately you are going to have daily income goal to base your numbers on. Knowing your numbers is critical going forward in the next modules and the foundation to setting your marketing goals.
  12. 12. • Knowing Your Numbers This is where you will have to monitor and track your results. Knowing your numbers will help you have an idea of the numbers you need for you to hit your income and marketing goals. You will need to know information such as:  How Many Customers ?  How Many Subscribers? (Social Media)  How Many Opt-Ins?  How Many Conversions From Leads To Customers? This is the time that you may need to take a strategy meeting with your success leader/upline to design and discuss a game plan including the best marketing strategies based on your company’s compensation plan. Know Your Numbers
  13. 13. Here is an example: Meet Mary… The Facts: Mary wants to earn $60K/year or $5K/month. She earns $100 commission on every product she sells. The Goals: She is going to need at least 50 customers at $100 to meet her $5K per month goal. Here’s how I came up with those numbers:  How many customers: $5000 divided by $100 = 50 customers.  How many customers does she need per day? There is 30 days in a month so her daily goal to aim for is approximately 2 customers daily. (50 customers divided by 30 days gives you 1.67 customers. Which is about 2 customers per day. So Mary would focus her marketing efforts into getting 2 customers per day.
  14. 14. The Power of Focus Focus is defined as the center of interest or activity in your business. One of the first steps to creating powerful focus is setting office hours for your home-based business. You need to determine if you are going to work your business full or part time. You have to have the mindset that you are the CEO of your own million-dollar empire. Every CEO has office hours and a daily method of operation. So it is totally up to you how many hours you may want to work in your business, but here is a guide to give you an idea:  Full-Time: 4-8 hours per day  Part Time: 2-4 hours per day
  15. 15. Schedule Your Distractions: • Create A Daily Method of Operation or Schedule  What do you do daily? (Module 2)  Using your time efficiently is a big part of being productive; use tools to assist.  Your Boss is your Daily Method of Operation  Prioritize all of your daily tasks (business and personal) • Avoid Distractions or Plan Your Distractions  Plan assignments and activities for young children during your productive times working your business.  Turn off the TV…or just plan your entertainment time, limit time on social media, and telephone time outside of prospect follow up time.
  16. 16. • Plan Ahead (Module 1) • Try to stay ahead of the game! Plan your work activities the night before. • Plan as many tasks as you can weekly such as content creation. • Stay Organized (Module 2) • Order really helps with productivity. Try to keep things neat and organized. • DMO Example
  17. 17. How to plan a smooth successful week Pick a day for focused time management planning.  Sunday is the best day  Evening is the best time #1: Clean Up Your Work Space A clean work space makes it easy for you to start your day focused for Monday morning with a “Let’s Go Get It" attitude. Statistics shows that if you keep a clean desk and office, you're 60% more likely to get more accomplished, be on top of your game, be more productive, AND (most important)... able to close more deals, making you more money! #2: Map out your goals for the week and schedule in your Income Producing Activities (IPA’s), making them a priority on your schedule! (Modules 1 & 2)
  18. 18. Knowing what you will accomplish, as well as how you're going to manage your time, will allow you to stay focused and be way more productive, than if you simply just "wing it". You want to master your time instead, Plan ahead Now! (Module 1) #3: Write down 3-5 Key things you want to accomplish this week... Be very detailed and time specific (Modules 1 & 2). For example:  Impact 7 New Lives or Add 7 New Success Partners  $1000 in Earnings this week from my business  Produce 21 New Pieces of Content (Videos, Articles, Blog Posts, Podcasts)  Build My List by 1,000 New Leads #4: Each Day Start with a 1-day game plan. (on a post it note)  What is my Goal for today?  How many people? Or How many?  What is my highest income producing activities?  Remember to Focus – Turn off distractions and focus on Income Producing Activities.
  19. 19. #5: Steps To Avoid Procrastination 1. Recognize Procrastination 2. Reframe the meaning of the actual incident 3. Why am I procrastinating? And What am I going to do about it? 4. Release Breath 10 times- Reset your mind 5. Refocus - Then Get To Work! #6: Use Your Checklist and a method of Accountability to make sure that your time is being utilized efficiently . (Modules 3 & 4) #7: Do Not Multi-Task Q: Did you know that if you multi-task you lose 40% of your productivity? Why? Your brain has to switch gears every time you start a new task. You will get more done if you focus on that one thing and complete it then move on to the next thing.
  20. 20. The End - Module 1 | Planning But Wait There’s More… So Now You Are Wondering What’s Next… • Module 2: Organization • Creating A Perfect Storm • Effective Brainstorming or Brain Dumping • Prioritization • Creating A (DMO) Daily Method Of Operation • Scheduling Tools • Simplify My Life Time Management Grid Tool • Module 3: Implementation • Knowing Your IPA’s • Analyzing Productivity • Creating An Activity Log • Creating A Checklist • Productivity Tools • Simple Activity Log Tool • Simplify My Day Checklist Tool • Module 4: Accountability • How The Formula Fits Together • What Accountability Does For Your Business & Team • Simplify My Business Accountability Tool
