I am an Economist and MBA graduate specialized in Strategy & Innovation. Executive with 18
years of corporate strategy experience in the Telecommunications, Technology and Finance
industries.
Bachelor in Economics with an executive degree in telecomunications at the Instituto Tec-
nológico Autónomo de México (ITAM). ITAM alumni award to the best thesis in economics.
Studied an MBA with specialty in Strategy & Innovation at EDHEC Business School (France) and
graduated with honors in 2006. In 2013 received the CCC - Buffalo University certification in
“Creative Leadership & Facilitation of Innovation”.
Currently Master Professor and member of the Evaluation Committee at the master in Infor-
mation Technology Management at Inttelmex IT, partner and Chief Strategy Officer at CASH-
2GO, a mobile finance Startup. Speaker and facilitator in events and institutions like Campus
Party, Aldea Digital, Movilforum, Instituto Politécnico Nacional and UNAM. My experience is
centered in: Corporate planning, innovation, strategy, interactive marketing, organizational

EXPERIENCE
As Strategy Head:
-Planned and monitored the execution of NEC´s Corporate & Business Unit level strategies
-Served as liaison between NEC and prospective allies for new services provision (SaaS platform ISVs, telecom
service providers, etc.)
-Defined the Corporate Scorecard, key performance indicators (KPIs) and evaluation criteria for Operations &
Strategy alignment
-Served as strategic advisor for Board of Directors, top management. Executive meetings and top clients pre-
sentations.
-Re-designed the organizational structure and re-engineered our processes in order to increase the company´s
competitiveness and to promote a culture of innovation
-Responsible for strategic projects appraisal (capital investments >US$1M, multiannual contracts, gov bids)
-Responsible for account planning and account management implementation (TAS methodology, Dealmaker
SW) to promote a consistent approach and cross-functional teamwork based on account teams.

-Responsible for key performance indicators, definition and evaluation criteria in order to support commer-
cial strategy.
-Account Management training and market intelligence support to Lead Client Service Partners (LCSPs) in
order to detect opportunities and maximize potential value.
-Designed, trained internal clients and launched the “Targeting and Opportunity Management System”
(TOM), which served more than 400 active users, 780 accounts and 1,250 opportunities.
-Crafted a client life-cycle model which allowed our Senior Management to estimate account potential based
in public information, calculate our share of wallet in top clients, select strategic accounts, segment our client
database and define sales/ retention objectives.
-Developed a strategic plan for Deloitte´s Corporate Governance project. As part of that plan we negotiated
an alliance with Yale and Anahuac universities in order to launch the “Center for Excellence in Corporate Gov-
ernance” (Centro de Excelencia en Gobierno Corporativo)
-Participated in the negotiation, marketing plan crafting and operation of the HP-Oracle-Deloitte in order
to launch the Basel II Joint Solution (IT consulting, software and hardware). The project included branding,
launch event, PR and marketing communications.
-Responsible for Global reporting and local administration of the Global Information Reporting System (GIRS)

form to maintain our executives updated in macroeconomic, industry, market and competitive trends.
-As responsible for PR and corporate communications, designed the digital marketing strategy for NEC
LATAM, launched our corporate social accounts and generated more than US$300k monthly in traditional
and new media value.
-Crafted and executed NEC´s Go To Market strategy for the NEC Medias smartphones line launch in Mexico
(including research, PR, TV, sponsorships, content, SEO, SEA, display, partnerships and branding)
