Ajit Gupta presented on his winter internship project promoting Amul ready-to-cook frozen snack products. He shadowed a territory sales officer to learn promotion techniques and was then given responsibility for independently meeting retailers. Over the course of the internship, he visited retailers in several areas of Pune to promote Amul's frozen snacks using various promotional activities and materials. Through this experience, he gained exposure to Amul's large distribution network and learned effective techniques for launching new products in markets.

โข The task given as an intern by Mr. Hari Shankar (officer Incharge dairy products)
was to visit Shreekalp distributor with the companyโs promotional material and
promoting Amul Ready to Cook Products of the company.
โข On the first day I was accompanying Territory sales officer Mr. Alok Malpani who is
working in Shreekalp (Katraj) Head Quarter where I had to shadow him and from
the next day I was given independent responsibility of meeting and generating
business from selected retailors

15. Other key learnings
Being a part of Amul as an intern in WIP, I have received a lot of corporate exposure.
I gathered knowledge about pitching retailers regarding Amul "Ready to cook"
products.
I have also gathered knowledge about the vast distribution network of Amul and
retailers reaction about Amul frozen snacks
I learnt new techniques for promoting new products in the markets
The key learning in WIP is that any product to be successful in the Market requires
good Quality and Distribution Network
