My introduction slides to Snowplow's second New York meetup (http://www.meetup.com/Snowplow-Analytics-New-York/events/231907418/), plus a brief introduction to Sauna, our new open source decisioning and response platform.
3. Running order for this evening
• Alex Dean (me) with a quick introduction to our new
product, Sauna
• Tiernan Kennedy on Canary’s reasons for moving to
Snowplow and their interesting use case
• Lincoln Ritter and Stevie Clifton with a conversation on
Snowplow
• Christophe Bogaert talking about event data modeling with
Snowplow
4. Introducing Sauna, a decisioning and response
platform from Snowplow
• Snowplow lets you track and capture events across all your different channels, in
granular detail, in a data warehouse, so you can build intelligence on that data
• Because you have your own event-level data in your own data warehouse, you
can then plug in any analytics tool to build insight and intelligence on that data
• Once you build intelligence on that granular data, you’ll want to act on it
• This means pushing the output of that intelligence to platforms and channels that
you engage with your users through, e.g. pushing “user A belongs to segment S”
into Salesforce and into MailChimp
5. Sauna lets you turn your customer insights into
actions in different marketing channels
6. At launch Sauna supports Optimizely and
SendGrid, with more integrations on the way
Launch integrations Coming soon Roadmap
