by atherosclerosis which is a condition where plaque builds up
in the walls of the arteries.

Osteoporosis affects all bones in the body however, breaks
are most common in the wrist, hip, and spine. This disease
can cause serious problems for women and should be
treated as soon as signs appear.
3 B R E A S T C A N C E R
12.4 percent of women born in the U.S will develop breast
cancer at some time during their lives. This health concern
has been around since the discovery of its existence and a
primary concern for physicians treating patients who have
breast cancer.
4 A U T O I M M U N E D I S E A S E S
Different ethnic groups are more susceptible to certain
autoimmune diseases. In lupus, for example, African-
American, Hispanic, Asian and Native American women are
two to three times more likely to develop the disease than
Caucasian women, and 9 out of 10 people who have lupus
are in fact, women.says Geneen Roth.
5 D E P R E S S I O N
Not only are women more prone to depression than men,
but both the patterns and symptoms for women who suffer
from depression are different. Depression can affect your
social life, relationships and career, but should be treated
once signs and symptoms of depression become apparent.
As a medical professional who is experienced in
