The Internet of things (IoT) is revolutionizing varied industries but health care in specific stands the most to gain or lose. The race to replace paper with digital files, the growing practice of tele-medicine, the ubiquity of mobile devices and the increasing connections of sensitive patient information to the web, has changed the way how we see the ill, treat the sick and research new medicines. Now has come the time that it’s no surprise that these advances may increase healthcare quality and availability. However at the same time, it increases the chances for cybercrimes and ends up putting the most such vulnerable data from the modern biology labs and experiment med-warehouses at risk.There is no doubt when we say that the Internet of Things (IoT) holds tremendous promise in healthcare by potentially enabling digital health revolution and advanced patient-care delivery. However, the potential of internet of things in healthcare domain won’t be realized unless data integrity and security are built onto the foundations of the IoT movement. Possible Threats Areas and Mitigating Risks: The noticeable challenges faced by healthcare organizations today are cyber threats (new directed threat scenarios can be categorized as Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs)) which have increased and evolved by cyber criminals and hacktivists. This varies from earlier days when many attacks and frauds were carried out by individuals simply looking to demonstrate their computer hacking skills by disrupting company websites or their networks. - Biomedical Devices - System Implementation - Machine-to-machine communication - Health Information Exchanges - Device manufacturers - HIPAA Security With this we can conclude that the necessary infrastructure to properly manage and optimize the proliferation of connected devices in healthcare domain starts with security. A strong strategy is required with includes authentication technologies and processes to verify patient and provider identities. This also validates that these devices can only be used by authorized users. Proper surety must be taken that there is complete integrity of the information which flows through communication channels between the devices with the IoT environment. Putting these security building blocks at the correct places helps in creating a closed and security loop system hence patients and provider can securely interact and in a more meaningful and engaging way.

To say the least, it's been a period of extraordinary activity in the ecosystem. While the Internet of Things will inevitably ride the ups and downs of inflated hype and unmet expectations, at this stage there's no putting the genie back in the bottle. The Internet of Things is propelled by an exceptional convergence of trends (mobile phone ubiquity, open hardware, Big Data, the resurrection of AI, cloud computing, 3D printing, crowdfunding). In addition, there's an element of self-fulfilling prophecy at play with enterprises, consumers, retailers and the press all equally excited about the possibilities. Next, these images are HTMLised by a frontend designer which is then converted by the developer into a fully working webs development page. But hey! Here is the catch. Hence came the need to standardize the web app designing so that the backend workflow injection part can be easily coded. And going by the example of HTML and CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap and Foundation, coders created JavaScript frontend frameworks to formulate web apps. Complete JS Frameworks There are many so called JavaScript frameworks in the market, but in reality not all are complete frameworks. But we were greatly impressed by its ease-of-use and flexibility in our projects so I thought its prudent to include it in the list. CanJS also ranks higher than the other three in terms of performance, especially when you have to render lots of view binding. JavaScript toolkits that can work as frameworks KnockoutJS KnockoutJS is a very popular toolkit among JS web app designers. It’s very lightweight, has every basic view rendering feature an app would need and it’s a perfect tool for those app projects for which you may have to develop your own framework. BackBoneJS BackboneJS is awesome if you want to define your templating or use jQuery-like event binding. However the framework Tool-kit is only for advanced developers and it has a steep learning curve. BackBoneJS is good at handling requests, module loading and request routing. Conclusion AngularJS is only stand alone framework that does not need help of any other library to work, and it is also the largest frontend JS framework out there. Ember and CanJS need support from additional libraries but are great in their own ways. BackboneJS and KnockoutJS are awesome for small app development projects or for those large app development projects in which you may have to build your own framework.

Earlier when you required a custom feature in your Salesforce installation to support your business process, the only available options were to create a brand new app and integrate it in your Salesforce or to use existing features in a creative way to achieve the same objective. However Salesforce evolved and we now have got Salesforce Visual Flow, also known as Salesforce Visual Workflow or simply Salesforce Flow. Visual flow can be summed up as an app inside the Salesforce app. Analogically, what methods are to object oriented programming, visual flow is to Salesforce. To be more precise, a Flow is a wizard or a set of screens in sequential order which can be used to complete a business process. This business process can be anything like filling out a form, or working on a script, or even filling out a survey. The Flow has the ability to fetch, edit, and create all Salesforce information in an appealing, quick and smart manner. Difference between Salesforce.com Flow and Workflow Salesforce Flow or Visual Workflow is often confused with a feature named Workflow in Salesforce and that’s forgivable! They may be similar in certain fashion such as assisting in automating a business process, but in essence they both are different. Here is how: - Visual Workflow is more of a front-end based tool. It is mainly used when you have to display or collect information through screens making it more visible to the users. Workflow on the other hand execute pre-defined rules behind the scenes. Flows can be used to execute a business logic, interact with Salesforce Databases, call defined Apex classes and guide user through screens. There are three main aspects of a Flow creation process: - Designing - Management - Flow Runtime You can create Flows and open Cloud Flow Designer by going through the following steps Name-> Setup-> App Setup-> Create-> Workflow & Approvals-> Flows-> New Flow. Once you have defined your Flow you can easily add it to any Visualforce page or you can add your Flow’s URL link to your Salesforce installation’s homepage. You can create your Flow triggers by going through the same above process and instead of clicking Flow, click Flow Trigger.
