This activity asks students to create a poster about themselves that connects what they have learned about the animal kingdom to their own lives, with the goal of showing how classroom lessons relate to real life. Students will think about their own characteristics and abilities and design a poster using an online tool to showcase how they are similar to different types of animals. The posters will then be displayed at the school so students can learn about each other.
1. Making connections
This activity is based on connecting the knowledge that the
kids have learnt about the animal kingdom with their own lives.
Through this topic you have learnt a lot of new vocabulary and new
structures about the topic of the Animal Kingdom. Now it will be time to use
it all together for this super learning mission. You are going to create by
yourself a poster explaining your main features, adding all the characteristics
that you have already learnt from the animal kingdom. With this super
learning mission we pretend to connect the learning of this Educational
project to their real lives in order to make them see that everything that the
thing they are studying are not isolated terms.
