  2. 2. Working with Students with Special needs <ul><li>Students with special needs should be taught on an individual basis. The students with special needs require one-on-one time to better meet their needs. Instruction should be modified for each student. Students with special needs can learn in the least restricted environment as long as, the material is modified and differentiated to meet their needs. </li></ul>

Key terms <ul><li>Inclusion- Allows students to be a part of a general education classroom and receive services within the classroom. </li></ul><ul><li>Least Restricted Environment- Students are provided opportunity to learn in the general education setting as much possible. </li></ul><ul><li>Differentiated Instruction- Individualizing instruction within the classroom the student is a part of. </li></ul>
