A powerful microprocessor based device, fitted in the vehicle, has a satellite based Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver and a GSM/GPRS module which obtains location information and relays it back to a Central Internet Web Server over the mobile phone network. The Central Server has ‘ Digital maps’ which report the current location of the vehicle. A particular trip can be played back to view the route taken by the vehicle on a digital map on the computer screen. Trinity SkyTrack supports GeoFencing and generates alerts / reports when the vehicle deviates from defined routes, or enters a forbidden area. Live tracking coupled with the facility for two way voice communication provides real time assistance giving the drivers total back up as and when required, when on the road.
