and writing.as a challenge but i will agree on how much I despise it. Writing on the other hand was
one of my easiest subjects. I could write for long periods of time without getting distracted. I would
always tell myself "If only reading was this interesting."
The earliest memory of reading I am able to think of, was in my pre–school reading as a class. "
Green Eggs And Ham" by Dr. Seuss was the book that started the whole comprehensive level. The
book made have wonderful joyful feeling inside. As my teacher was reading the book, her
assistant teacher was actually making green eggs and ham. At the time my reaction was amazed,
thinking "oh wow they're actually real green eggs and ham"; not knowing about food coloring.
The class was disgusted before they took the first bite, but soon after the first bite they all wanted
seconds. During this time in my life I never was influenced to read, only read during school
activities and time but the more I went to school it increased to be fun .As time went on , I slowly
started to not feel interested in reading.
Not to long after, I started to read a grade level above my actual grade. My education level had then
took a turn because writing started to come in the picture. Writing was my favorite thing to do at

Essay On My Favourite Birthday Gift
It was my seventh birthday and also one of the best days of my entire life. I had just opened up
the last of my presents and was thanking my family for all the gifts they had given me for my

My Favorite Trip
Last year, my mother took a trip to Italy for an entire month. While in Italy, she had the chance to
see many fascinating things including the Roman Coliseum. She visited the most beautiful beach
on the Caribbean Sea with white sand and crystal clear water and while swimming there, she got
to see a rare species of fish called the Parrotfish. Rome, Florence, and Venice were just some of the
many places she visited while on her Italian trip. While in Rome, she bought a replica of the Roman

My Favorite Class Essay
My favorite classes this year were Mrs. Menzel's two english classes. I have learned so much
about myself as a reader, student, and an intellectual. Through both of her classes, we were given
endless amounts of opportunity. What I mean by this is, we got to choose our own topics to
study, books to read, and subjects to write about. We were truly treated like adults, which in my
eyes, helped prepare us for the "real world". Her willingness to let us grow as individuals was
very inspiring, because she believed that we could do it on our own, with a little push whenever
we needed it. I have gotten the chance to discover that I actually enjoy reading! Specifically, I
discovered that Jodi Picoult might be my favorite author as of now. Also, I realized that writing is
one of my favorite things to do, it is a passion of mine and I hope I can continue it somehow with
the career that I choose.
Personally, her two classes have helped me grow as a speaker, writer, and reader. In her CCC
class, I was able to write a profile on my dad, which really strengthened my relationship with him.
After printing him a copy, and seeing tears in his eyes made me very grateful for this experience
to share with him how much of a role model he is to me. In her English Lit class, I was able to ask
my grandma and mom what books they would recommend for me. Having these conversations
with them made their hearts warm, since I was showing interest in books for once (they are both
book lovers). Her class pushed me to be the best that I can, and it wasn't for the grade that I got. It
was for learning about myself, and what I was capable of. That's when I learned that her classes
are actually changing me as a student. For an example, when I was working on a project, I wasn't
basing every single sentence on what the rubric told me to do. I was branching out and working on
it because I truly wanted to learn more about the topic and put my all into it.
Thankfully, I have matured a great amount as a student because of Mrs. Menzel and her life

My Favorite Food
One of the foods I enjoy is chinese food, still to this day i love it. If I could i would eat it for
breakfast, lunch, dinner. However, i know if i would eat it on a regular basis, soon i would get
tired of it. Orange chicken was the light of my day, it was what i looked forward to when eating
chinese food. Now i can not help but to ignore it, at all cost if necessary. I distinctly remember the
feeling i had that day i ate one of my favorite foods. It was about four years ago, 2013, i was 13
and in the 8th grade. It was my first time at ever at Six Flags, i was scared out of my mind and felt
a little anxious. We stopped to eat late in the afternoon, we went to the closest place we could
fine, which happened to be Panda Express. Panda express is one of my favorite chinese places to
eat so i had no problem in eating there. I bought chow mein, beef and broccoli, and orange
chicken; i ate the orange chicken first because it is my favorite. However, that's the only thing i
ate because i started to feel sick and experience stomachaches. I went the rest of that day in pain
and in discomfort, until i eventually threw up right before a ride. Now every time i see orange
chicken i get a feeling of sickness and tend to avoid eating it at all costs. The unconditioned

Usually when someone asks me "what is your favorite food?" My immediate reply is food. I
know that sounds like I 'm trying to be funny but it 's true. I enjoy such a wide variety of food that
to narrow it down to "this is my favorite food that I would be happy eating for the rest of my life,"
it 's nearly impossible. So I have decided to talk about one of my many favorite foods: sandwiches.
One of the things I like the most about sandwiches is that they can be so versatile. You could do

My Childhood Memories Of A Summer Day
If someone were to ask you what your favorite childhood memory was, would you be able to
answer it without second guessing yourself? I could. In a heartbeat. Some of my fondest memories
as a child were roaming around my luscious garden with my father. The vibrant colors, the fresh

Have you ever planted something before? Well if you have or haven't, I have and I love planting

The green small crunchy tree– like shaped vegetable doesn't make me feel guilty about my favorite
meal because every bite is filled with specks of broccoli so the health factor is definitely included. I
know I'm getting my proper amount of vegetables. The succulent tan chewy mushrooms provides an

Food is the one thing that we cannot live without. Even for those who have developed the
discipline to fast for a specified period, eventually, they must start eating again. We love our food
to the point that recorded in history as being the first sin. Food is something we all enjoy, and
sometimes it shows. Most of the human race eats three to four meals a day, and the selection of
those foods are not a part of the recommended daily allowances. I will share my favorite foods, my

Vacation is the time to relax and have fun. Taking the carnival cruise to Cozumel was one of the

me. Another reason was that I was able to hold an Iguana which was very different and fun. I was
walking to a gift shop and I saw a man with an iguana I really wanted to hold it. So I walked up to
the man with the iguana in his hand and asked: "may I hold the iguana?" He let me hold it I was
so excited and I asked him if he would take a picture for me. I couldn't believe I actually held it
and didn't freak out. Lastly, the beach overall was the fun experience to have. I stayed at the beach
for the two hours just swimming and enjoying the beach environment. I definitely wasn't ready to
leave anytime soon but I had too. I had so much fun at the beach I would definitely go back. This
vacation was awesome and I will always consider this on my list of my favorite
