Ana Gimeno-Sanz, PhD in English Philology, has been a member of the teaching and research staff in the Department of Applied Linguistics, Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (UPV), Spain, since 1985 and is Full Professor of English Language. She has been Director of the R&D Linguistic Support Office for UPV from 2000 to 2009 and coordinator of the English exam for the Spanish national University Entrance Examinations from 1998 to 2010. She is Head of UPV’s CAMILLE Research Group, which is devoted to research in Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL) and has published numerous research papers on language learning and teaching, especially in the fields of ESP and CALL.
