The band that sings this song is named
Bastille. Bastille started as a solo project of
Dan Smith in 2010. He later decided to form
a group. The band is formed of four
musicians. Dan Smith, Chris Wood, Will
Farquarson and Kyle Simmons. They’re all
from the United Kingdom.
5. Style
Bastille is an english alternative rock band. It
depends on what song. Some are rock and
some are more slow.
6. Pompeii
Pompeii is actually a Roman city based in the VIe
century (sixth). It was buried under multiple meters of
ash and pumice in the eruption of Mount Vesuvius.
The volcano erupted in the year 79. An estimated of
sixteen thousand people died. The bands sings as if
they were there while the tragedy happened.
9. Conclusion
I don’t listen to Bastille a lot. I just particularly
like the song Pompeii. I’ve had it on repeat
since I discovered it. I don’t like it because of
it’s lyrics. I didn’t even know what the song
was talking about before doing this project. I
just like it because the beat is great and I
never get tired of hearing it.
