Yahoo! Search Marketing [From 2005 until now]
 My current position at Yahoo! European HQ in Dublin as a Search
Marketing Advisor involves a constant optimization and
proactive work with our most important accounts as well as keyword
listing management and copy writing for new and existing clients.
I am the SEM advisor for Spanish online advertisers such as Banesto,
ING Direct, uno-e Bank, eDreams, Viajes Iberia, Viajar.com,
EasyJet, Spanair; and I manage as well international (cross-
marketing) clients such as Bookings, eBay or Hotels.com among
others. I help to diagnose their issues, providing expert support and
identifying opportunities for their online business in order to improve
their performance within Yahoo! and increase their ROI within given
budgets.

in some of the main online business areas such as Finance and

I have been in charge of sensitive material as trademarks, adult or
gambling having to show high decision skills. I trained new team
members and I was responsible of auditing other senior editors,
organizing team meetings and preparing Editorial projects with
business objectives.

 Online Editor for the Spanish Market
I started working in Overture, currently Yahoo! Search Marketing,
as an editor for the Spanish market. My duties were related to ensure
relevancy for both content and sponsored ads of our online
advertisers. I prepared search listing proposals based on the client’s
websites and wrote copy on a daily basis. I also had to review
incoming search listing requests from the clients that submitted
directly through the Overture network and, liaising with Client
Services, I helped to resolve client’s queries.
 Summary of current main duties:
 Improving campaigns for existing clients and setting up paid search
campaigns for new customers.
 Optimization of accounts (keyword listings, prices, copies, etc.) and
proactively looking and identifying opportunities for growth.
 Analyzing campaigns using internal tools.
 Preparing presentations for clients. Diagnosing issues and providing
expert support.
 Google conversion campaigns.
 Training team members and management of editorial projects.
 Working for the roll out in Spain of Yahoo! Web Analytics.

 Cabinet Press Writer
After the 2003 summer training, I had the opportunity to work in the
RTVE Press Cabinet Department. My job involved writing press
notices informing about TV programs and ranking audience as well
as liaising with the main national newspapers.
I also had the chance to participate in the broadcasting of the World
Swimming Competition that took place in Barcelona. My input
involved interviewing the participants and event’s coordinators in
order to write an informative report.
 I was also responsible for the RTVE online press dossier collecting
all TV related news from National newspapers and editing them for
publishing on the Internet.

Objectives:
To develop my journalist skills in an Internet environment and to become
an expert Webmaster both in Internet marketing techniques and content
development. I have great interest in Web Analytics and SEO/SEM/SMO
techniques and I am always willing to learn more about it.
Interests and
Activities:
My personal preferences are strongly related to cultural activities. I am
passionate about music, theatre and cinema, but specially about dancing,
which I practice in a regular basis, being member of DYDC (Dublin
Youth Dance Company) for four years and webmaster and community
manager of the website.
My interest in literature has driven me as well to write a thesis about
Conrad Aiken, an American writer of short stories.
Finally I like doing sports and I practice swimming, hiking and jogging.
