  1. 1.  Every nation needs a set of principles and rules, which all the citizens may abide by so as to pave the way for proper functioning of the government. In a democratic system, the will and concerns of the people are at the forefront of governance at any level.  This presentation deals about the Chinese democracy and constitution.
  2. 2. China is one of the countries with the longest histories in the world. It has a glorious culture and a revolutionary tradition. It is a fast developing nation and soon would top 5 countries of the world.
  3. 3. NATIONAL EMBLEM NATIONAL FLAG
  4. 4.  The Provisional Constitution of the Republic of China was drawn up in March 1912 and formed the basic government document of the Republic of China until 1928. It provided a Western-style parliamentary system.  The first Constitution of the People's Republic of China was promulgated in 1954. After two intervening versions enacted in 1975 and 1978, the current Constitution was promulgated in 1982. There were significant differences between each of these versions, and the 1982 Constitution has subsequently been amended several times. In addition, changing Constitutional conventions have led to significant changes in the structure of Chinese government in the absence of changes in the text of the Constitution.  The constitution consists and talks about of the Preamble, General Principles, The Fundamental Rights and Duties of Citizens, The Structure of The State, The National Flag , The National Emblem and The Capital. .
  5. 5.  The Provisional Constitution of the Republic of China was drawn up in March 1912 and formed the basic government document of the Republic of China until 1928.  The Constitution of the Republic of China (中華民國憲法) is the fundamental law of the Republic of China (ROC), commonly known as Taiwan. Drafted by the Kuomintang (KMT) as part of its third stage of national development (i.e. representative democracy), it established a centralized Republic with five branches of government.
  6. 6. The Preamble mostly talks about the history, culture, the future goals, the efforts made to make china a democracy and the main duties of the chinese.
