2. Why KOPPOTERS? (english: stickmen)
Most of the time youโll find a very small disclaimer in the end of a document.
That โs exactly why we start with huge letters:
Koppoters are dangerous for control freaks that do not
like deviant opinions. The same applies for jargon fetisjists.
Thanks for still being around! But what do Koppoters do?
Well, this for example!
But what makes koppoters special?
Koppoters looking through the eyes of a child,
but secretly have a lot of experience.
And that makes them very suitable for vivid interventions
during meetings, events & workshops.
Therefore:
If you have a pre-formulated meeting quietly rippling
towards a predictable result, assure you that there is no
Koppoter in the room.
(they also called called โ disruptors โ, not such a beautiful
word)
Time to the clients and the images speak for themselves!
3. Rabobank Salland: Ed de Besten, chairman of the board
โWe have worked with Albert Jan a few times with full satisfaction. Sometimes a picture says more
than words. He can summarize a discussion with simple drawings with a quip. This makes it easier to
get a feedback to other people.
Also, his interventions are to the point and sharp and allow for tightening and brightness in the
discussion. โ
For Rabobank Salland Albert Jan
has performed during an annual plan
presentation of the Executive Board
to the Supervisory Board.
The result โKoppoter reportโ
has also been used for internal
communication.
In addition, Albert Jan has been
involved in several stages of a
cultural change process.

4. Natuurmonumenten:
Klaas de Jong, Project lead Cultural Change
โAlbert Jan has helped us a lot to provide the cultural process we have gone through with funny
and stimulating cartoons. With his cartoons he brings air into โheavyโ subjects. Albert Jan thinks
along well and shows insight into strategic (change) processes. He also works fast and structured;
very pleasant for a client! โ
At Natuurmonumenten, Albert Jan supported an organisation-wide cultural change project on
several fronts. He creates Koppoters that reflect the core values of Movement, Openness &
Cooperation (BOS) in a playful but effective way.
During workshops he gives visual interventions that often give a whole new and surprising twist
to the dialogue. And therefore also
special results.
The weekly blogs for and by
Natuurmonumenten employees on
the intranet are also provided with a
Koppoter cartoon.

5. Coachloper.nl: Nienke Lokhorst, owner
โAlbert Jan has a very creative view on the world. One that inspires me.
I find him smart, shrewd and he brings essential themes with humor.โ
Commissioned by Coachloper Albert Jan has made โKoppotersโ reports for several large
coaching network events. He also made cartoons for the program booklet. During the last
event he presented other coaches a mirror with his โKoppoter pitchโ.
The Koppoter pitch?
Yes, the Koppoter pitch.
Which has primed many

towards a much more
effective attitude.

6. Salland Academy: Yvette Stemerding, initiatiator.
โALBERT JANโS creative style of thinking appeals to me very much. He has made special
Koppoters that we use in our house style and communication at the Salland Academy.
Itโs great to work with him and I love the Koppoters!โ
The Salland Academy is a platform initiated by Rabobank that offers a wide range of personal
development services, in cooperation with organisations and trainers from the Salland region.

7. Olijf Foundation: Roland Keja, editor in chief
โIf you need a creative cartoon for a magazine, Albert Jan Rasker is more than just the right
address. For Olijf Foundation (and its magazine) he has certainly conjured up striking cartoons
from his pen!โ
Stichting Olijf looks after the interests of (former) patients with gynaecological cancer.
Albert Jan has made visual reports for Olijf during various events.
He also draws cartoons for the quarterly magazine โOlijfbladโ.
The main challenge is mainly to present heavy themes in a light-hearted, humorous way.
Secrans Advies & Coaching: Rina Mulder, owner
โFor my 25th anniversary I made a โglossyโ with tips, examples and
information from my field. My designer advised to include a few
cartoons and proposed Albert Jan.
I experienced the cooperation as very positive; Albert Jan
made a proposal, but I also wanted to make adjustments and he
understood very well what I wanted. He was open to โcriticismโ...
sometimes that is difficult for a creative person, but that was not
the case with Albert Jan. I am very happy with the resultโ.

8. THE PROCESS
Companies often use external parties to review their daily
business (with an expensive word โauditโ), with or without
advice, for example in the field of:
โข Supply chain & procurement
โข Tendering
โข Logistics
โข ICT
โข Finance
โข Administration & controlling
โข Legal affairs
Unfortunately, this does not always result in beautiful
and readable reports.

WORKSHOPS, MODELS, QUADRANTS, METHODS
Facilitators in workshops often useideas, models and diagrams of Business Guruโs.
Koppoters are curious and have checked a lot of them out!
So: Steven Covey, Ofman, Flow, Keynes, Business Model Canvas, Team efficiency model, the Think
Hats of the Bono, Ricardo Semler, Maslow, SWOT, the Golden Circles of Simon Sinek...
bring it on!
But beware: Koppoters are NEVER uncritical followers!
This specially applies to methods that promote โwill powerโ and โpersuasivenessโ.

10. Koppoters & Albert Jan Rasker
Who thinks of such a thing?
The Koppoters are creations of Albert Jan Rasker.
Albert Jan nowadays works as a versatile and multimedia artist and is a certified coach.
In the past he has gained a lot of experience in representing roles in the business world (Telecom /
ICT).
Add a lively imagination and you have a unique cocktail of skills.
His unorthodox way of looking at things and his curiosity have often worked
against him in the hierarchical structures of several employers in the past.
Nowadays he is hired for this very reason.
Sounds good?

Frederique Spannenburg, former Vice President at CapGemini:
โAlbert Jan is a truly creative thinker. No matter how diverse a group is, he always
succeeds in finding a different angle that stimulates to look at themes from a whole
new perspective. He is also a great person to work with, leaving room for everyoneโs
contribution. โ
