Abstract: The frequency equations are obtained for longitudinal and flexural modes of vibration and the numerical calculations or carried out for the
material zinc and cobalt cylinders. The non-dimensional wave numbers are calculated by using the secant method and the dispersion curves are drawn
and they are presented. Dispersion curves are drawn between non dimensional frequencies versus dimensionless wave number.
