2. Foreword
"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world “
Nelson Mandela
Today, the role of a school is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate
and empower its students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and productive members
of an ever-changing global society. At SJKT Castlefiled we provide an atmosphere to our students for
multifaceted development, where children are encouraged to channelize their potential in the pursuit of excellence. We
constantly endeavor to always live up to this ideology and inculcate this into everything we do, with the aim that we will be able to
ensure that the children grow to their full potential, while constantly being groomed to pass out as men and women competent to
bear responsibility in all walks of life.
The parents are the most strengthening power in moulding the future of children. Their consistent support empowers us to do
more and more. I pay my gratitude to them for their faith in us. I am confident enough that the Castlefield students will make
themselves stronger day by day, adding a new leaf to the grandeur of the school.
We are off to a good start this year with lots of great achievements set ahead of us. The world is changing at such an accelerated
rate. Nevertheless, SJKT Castlefield has never lagged behind. I would like to convey my heartiest support and compliments to
English Panel of SJKT Castlefield for their great effort to produce this bulletin. So dear Castle family, we will kick start our bulletin
this month with some interesting news for all of you to keep a tab on it.
Warm wishes & greetings

20. PROJECT BASED LEARNING 2 SENTHAMIL : MY AMAZING MOM
Mother's Day is an occasion which is celebrated in various parts of
the world to express respect, honor, and love towards mothers.
Year 2 Senthamil children creatively amazed their mom with their
Mother’s Day cards. They also talked about their mother to the
class. Not only can these types of activities bring out the artist or
writer in them but it’s gives them opportunity to improve their
speaking skills. Well done Kids!
37. What makes a person beautiful?
.
‘What makes a person beautiful?” Some say It’s appearance, while there are very few people who understand the the true
definition of beauty.
The things that make a person truly beautiful is their heart and personality not appearance,. In my prospective I think
beauty is kindness, honesty. Respect, generosity, fairness. Purity and positivity are what makes a person truly beautiful by
heart. Not money, appearance, status and power
The word ‘beauty’ was translated from Ancient Greece and introduced as physical attractiveness by Anglo-French Beute in
the early 14th century. The earliest traces of the word beauty was ‘Kallos’ a word in the language of Ancient Greece. Soon
after, the word beauty was then refined into kindness.
But of course, nobody is perfect. For example, Although she has a crooked heart and horrid personality she is still loved due
to her beautiful appearance. Another example is the preloved fairy-tale of Beauty and the Beast.
The most beautiful people I know are those in fairy-tales or in books have mostly endured the hardships throughout their
lives. This made me come to a conclusion that if you have never tasted a bad apple you wouldn’t appreciate a good apple.
‘Beauty is a doubtful good, a glass, a flower, lost faded, broken and dead within an hour’ was a quote that was once recited by
William Shakespeare. This quotes holds a unique meaning. The definition of the quote was the physical beauty isn’t
everything. People are like flowers. A flowers petals are its pride and joy. But as a flower grow older. It’s petals’ beauty will
eventually fade as it get older. Physical beauty will never be with us. But no matter how old we are happiness will always be
with us.
The most important part is to never let others insults stop you from being who you are and to never judge a book by its
cover.

38. The Endangered Red Wolves
There are some species of animals that have gone extinct and some that are critically endangered. Today I am going to
share some information on the critically endangered red wolves.
Like other wolves the red wolves were hunted and persecuted on a massive scale during the early 19th to 20th century.
Only a small population of Red Wolves remained in southwestern Louisiana and eastern Texas.
The only place where red wolves remain is the Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge in eastern North Carolina and
surrounding states. There are only estimated 25 or lesser Wild Red Wolves, and the International Union of the
Conversation of nature classifies them as critically endangered.
The Red Wolves are carnivores and like to hunt White tailed deer, Racoons and small mammals like Mice and Rabbit.
They can eat up to 5 pounds of food everyday.
Red Wolves grow up to 26 inches tall and measure up to four-feet in length from tail tip to nose. They range up to 45 to
80 pounds in weight, and have pointy ears. Broad muzzles, Wide heads and Long slender legs. They are often mistaken
as Coyotes although they are significantly larger.
