3. Super Hero Augmented Reality
Description:
Marvel and Walmart partnered up on the Super Hero AR
which is both a game and in-store experience. The
game, which lets users act as any one of six super heroes
and fight enemies overlaid on top of your real
world, starts with just one super-hero ready to play:
Hawkeye. To play as the other heroes like The Hulk and
Iron Man users need to visit the local Walmart and point
their smart phones at the “target image” on one of the
many Avengers placards around the store.
Also the app allows taking a photo with the favorite
Marvel character by pointing the mobile device at special
hero placards in the store.

trial for its Tomato Ketchup brand.
Users of the free app for Apple and Android
smartphones and tablets, created with
augmented reality technology, wereable to
‘unlock’ a pop-out recipe booklet when the
camera is placed over the product, with the
recipes featuring Heinz Tomato Ketchup.

6. Nestlé Chamyto
Description:
A custom application for Chamyto
allowed usera to use the trading card as
the controller. The webcam image was
processed to detect the movement of
the trading card, which enables the
player to lead his hero through the
different adventures. For example, the
player could navigate an astronaut
through an asteroid field and collect
points in the process. With those points
the players were able to win prizes.

7. deCider
Description:
Bulmers, one of the leading premium bottled
cider brands, launched the augmented reality app
for the one of their products – deCider. The app
allowed users to win prizes and engage with their
friends in real time by tapping into what's
happening in venues around the country and
create a great night out. Users simply needed to
download the app and scan their promotional
Bulmers Pint Bottle to reveal the 3D animations.
From the label consumers were able to enter a
code with which they can later win one of 17
trips for two to The Big Apple. In a second phase
people could use the app as an event planner and
enjoy a range of venues and happenings
throughout Ireland.

8. The Dream Play Toys
Disney has teamed up with toy company
JAKKS Pacific and Patrick Soon-Shiong
(known as the wealthiest person in Los
Angeles) to develop its first augmented-
reality toys, which will allow children to
virtually interact with its well-known
characters. The Dream Play toys are able
to trigger animations on the device’s
screen.
By pointing the device’s camera on the
toy, users will be able to see amusing
animated characters, for example,
“fairies appear to glide in and out of
buildings, animated critters start playing
musical instruments, mythical characters
prance on a toy piano’s keyboard.”

9. Magna Color 3D Magic
Using a smart phone or a tablet, users
can launch the free Magna Color App
and scan their completed stencils to
see their designs jump off the screen!
They can create their own in App
portfolio and store all your completed
Magna Color artwork to view and
share with family and friends.
Augmented reality allows to bring the
fish, created with a game, to life in 3D

10. Halo: King of the Hill
The free app, entitled Halo 4: King of the
Hill Fuled by Mountain Dew and
Doritos, was roll out internationally on
iOS and Android.
The App is a location-enabled shooter.
Players earn “supplies” freely over
time, which can be spent to boost their
standings on any 7-11 location’s
leaderboard. Users can boost their
supply total further by scanning bottles
of Mountain Dew or bags of Doritos. If a
player tops a 7-11's leaderboards, they're
one step closer to a prize.

This Augmented Reality app infuses Solar System
wall chart and allows children to
learn, interact, and have fun all at the same time.
