• Free platforms and accessible to everyone and anywhere;
• Contribute to the access and democratization of books and reading in rural
areas;
• Boost school reading in rural areas where access to the paper book remains
difficult;

• KoomBook, a mobile digital
library developed by the NGO
Library without borders.
• The tool reloads thanks to an
integrated solar panel and works
without internet connection and
allows to spread knowledge in the
the most moved back zones.

Other initiatives of digital libraries
• Digital education: a project introduced
by the Orange Foundation in Africa in
2014, and spread(displayed) by the
local Foundations in 04 experimental
countries: Cameroon, Niger,
Madagascar and Senegal.
• In Senegal, approximately 72 000
pupils distributed in 30 primary and
secondary schools in Dakar and in
regions benefited from this educational
program.

• Mjangale, an application that introduces children
