Monday, April 13th:
For most people, the mention of the city of Augusta, GA
and only one thing comes to mind…The National. Over
thirty years prior to the opening of Augusta National,
Augusta Country Club was the playground of the golf’s
elite players and great tournaments in the south. Bobby
Jones won the Southern Amateur there three years before
he opened his famed course and would call it his best
tournament ever. In fact, during a break from work while
he was building Augusta National, Jones made the second
hole-in-one of his career at the Augusta Country Club.
There is so much history here. These two great courses
share many things, members, Rae’s Creek and a lot of golf
history as well as great gold design. Fulfill your dream and
tee it off at one of the most historic and prestigious golf
courses in the world.
