6. Register, Create
Go to Appafolio.com, register, then create
your first Appafolio

7. The Dashboard
The Dashboard is your main control panel
with links to Settings, App Creator, Share and
to Get My Appafolio and Change Passphrase

8. Settings
From Settings, choose your icon, or upload your
own custom icon. Make your icon 512x512 pixels
optimally. Change your App name if needed./Turn
on or off comments, sharing and rate this app.*
Custom icon files can be jpg, png or gif. Reduce file size, if possible.

9. App Creator
The App Creator lands on the App Flow ,
On the upper right navigation is also a link to
Theme .

10. Theme
On ‘Theme’, you choose a standard tiled background,
but it is best if you upload your own 'custom'
background, 2048x1024 pixels.You control the font
type, alignment and color for both the titles and
captions for all your screens.
Background files can be jpg, gif or png. Reduce the file size, if possible.

11. App Flow
From the App Creator, you land on the ‘App Flow’
page. This is the where you specify your screens; what
type, order, title and navigation title. You can delete
screens and create new ones. You add photos, videos
or text by clicking ‘edit’ on each of your screens
* - Dragging to reorder not currently supported in iPad

12. Adding Screens/Sections
After clicking, 'Add New Section', you choose between all
the available types of screens; image, image gallery, video,
video gallery, slideshow or about. Hit the green ‘Add
Screen’ button to create the screen. Hit 'edit' when it
appears on the App Flow to add images, video or text

- Slideshow - Turns Photos into Slideshow
- Video - Single Video
- Video Gallery - Multiple Videos that Appear in a Grid
- About - About text, email, address, Facebook, Twitter

14. Share
Share the passphrase to your Appafolio with anyone so they
can access it. They will need to download the free Appafolio
iPhone/iPad app and enter your passphrase.
Create a ‘Short URL’ - appafol.io/NAME by changing your
Passprase. Launches your Appafolio, if the app is installed.
Share your Appafolio with anyone who has an iPhone or iPad.
