characteristics and their consequences

bring them into the light

5.  पतरस के आखखरी पत्र को सभी ववश्वाशसयों को
शलखा हुआ; पहले यहूददयों को शलखा हुआ।
 जैसा कक वह साहसपूवयक मृत्यु की तैयार करता
है, वह हमें प्रकाश में रहिे और "अींधकार युग"
को सींभाल करिे के शलए तैयार करता है।

 Peter’s last letter is addressed to all believers unlike the first
addressed specifically to the Jews.
 As he boldly anticipates death, he prepares us to live in the
light and handle the “dark ages”.
 He has read Paul’s letters and refers to them in this letter

6. 2 पतरस 1:19 और हमारे पास जो भववटयद्वतताओीं
का वचि है, वह इस घििा से दृढ ठहरा है और तुम
यह अच्छा करते हो, कक जो यह समझ कर उस पर
ध्याि करते हो, कक वह एक दीया है, जो अक्न्धयारे
स्िाि में उस समय तक प्रकाश देता रहता है जब
तक कक पौ ि फिे, और भोर का तारा तुम्हारे हृदयों
में ि चमक उठे।
19 So we have the prophetic word made more sure, to which you do
well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day
dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts. Ch1

 “Conscientious hard work and
perseverance, particularly with regard
to a relationship with God”.
 to be coupled with divine power to be
effective. [2]

8. 2 पतरस 1:3 तयोंकक उसके ईश्वरीय सामर्थ िे सब कु छ
जो जीवि और भक्तत से सम्बन्ध रखता है, हमें उसी
की पहचान के द्वारा दिया है, क्जस िे हमें अपिी ही
मदहमा और सद्गुण के अिुसार बुलाया है। 4 क्जि के
द्वारा उस िे हमें बहुमूल्य और बहुत ही बडी प्रनतज्ञाएीं
दी हैं: ताकक इि के द्वारा तुम उस सडाहि से छू ि कर
जो सींसार में बुरी अशभलाषाओीं से होती है, ईश्वरीय
स्वभाव के समभागी हो जाओ। 5 और इसी कारण तुम
सब प्रकार का यत्ि करके , अपिे ववश्वास पर सद्गुण,
और सद्गुण पर समझ।
3 seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to
life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by
His own glory and excellence. 4 For by these He has granted to us His
precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may
become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption
that is in the world by lust 5 Now for this very reason also, applying all
diligence, in your faith. 1

9. •2 पतरस 1:0 भली भाींनत यत्ि करते जाओ, तयोंकक यदद ऐसा करोगे, तो
कभी भी ठोकर न खाओगे।..as long as you practice you will never stumble

11. •2 पतरस 1:8 तयोंकक यदद ये बातें तुम में
वतयमाि रहें, और बढती जाएीं, तो तुम्हें हमारे प्रभु
यीशु मसीह के पहचाििे में निकम्मे और तनष्फल
न होने िेंगी। For if these qualities are yours and are
increasing, they render you neither useless nor
unfruitful in the true knowledge of our Lord Jesus
Christ

14. 2 पतरस 2:4 तयोंकक जब
परमेश्वर ने उन स्वगथिूतों को
क्जन्हों ने पाप ककया नहीं
छोडा, पर िरक में भेज कर
अन्धेरे कु ण्डों में डाल ददया,
ताकक न्याय के ददि तक
बन्दी रहें।
4 For if God did not spare
angels when they sinned, but
cast them into hell and
committed them to pits of
darkness, reserved for
judgment; Ch 2

15.  उि का ववनाश ऊं घता नहीं 3
 पर ये लोग तनबुथद्धध पशुओं ही
के तुल्य हैं, जो पकडे जािे और
िाश होिे के शलये उत्पन्ि हुए
हैं; 12
 और सिोम और अमोरा के नगरों
को ववनाश का ऐसा िण्ड दिया,
कक उन्हें भस्म करके राख में
शमला ददया ताकक वे आिे वाले
भक्ततहीि लोगों की शशक्षा के
शलये एक दृटिान्त बिें। 6
 ये लोग अन्धे कुं ए, और आन्धी
के उडाए हुए बादल हैं, उि के
शलये अनन्त अन्धकार ठहराया
गया है - 17

16. 2 पतरस 2:9 तो प्रभु के
भततों को परीक्षा में से
तनकाल लेना और
अधलमयों को न्याय के
दिन तक िण्ड की दशा
में रखिा भी जािता है।
9 then the Lord knows how
to rescue the godly from
temptation, and to keep
the unrighteous under
punishment for the day of
judgment, Ch 2

17. 2 पतरस 3:10 परन्तु प्रभु का ददि चोर की
नाईं आ जाएगा, उस ददि आकाश बडी
हडहडाहि के शब्द से जाता रहेगा, और तत्व
बहुत ही तप्त होकर वपघल जाएींगे, और पृथ्वी
और उस पर के काम जल जाऐींगे।
10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief,
in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and
the elements will be destroyed with intense heat,
and the earth and its works will be burned up. Ch 3

18. 2 पतरस 3:6 इन्हीीं के द्वारा उस युग का
जगत जल में डूब कर नाश हो गया। 7 पर
वतयमाि काल के आकाश और पृथ्वी उसी वचि
के द्वारा इसशलये रखे हैं, कक जलाए जाएं; और
वह भक्ततहीि मिुटयों के न्याय और िाश होिे
के ददि तक ऐसे ही रखे रहेंगे॥
6 through which the world at that time
was destroyed, being flooded with water. 7 But by
His word the present heavens and earth are being
reserved for fire, kept for the day of
judgment and destruction of ungodly men. Ch 3

19.  “प्रभु का ददि” बाइबबल में एक ददि िहीीं है
 ये अींनतम वविाश के चेताविी हैं
 जहाीं स्वगय और पृथ्वी पर िए आकाश में आग
लगिे से िटि हो गया

20. 2 पतरस 3:8 हे वप्रयों, यह एक बात तुम
से नछपी ि रहे, कक प्रभु के यहां एक दिन
हजार वषथ के बराबर है, और हजार वषय
एक ददि के बराबर हैं।
8 But do not let this one fact escape your
notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is
like a thousand years, and a thousand
years like one day.

21. 2 पतरस 3:9 प्रभु अपनी
प्रततज्ञा के ववषय में िेर
नहीं करता, जैसी देर
ककतिे लोग समझते हैं;
पर तुम्हारे ववषय में धीरज
धरता है, और िहीीं चाहता,
कक कोई िाश हो; वरि
यह कक सब को मन
कफराव का अवसर लमले।
3:9 The Lord is not slow about His
promise, as some count slowness,
but is patient toward you, not
wishing for any to perish but
for all to come to repentance.

22.  तया हम खोई बचािे
के शलए ईश्वर की
धैयय लेते हैं?

23. 2 पतरस 3:13 पर उस की प्रनतज्ञा के अिुसार हम
एक िए आकाश और िई पृथ्वी की आस देखते हैं
क्जि में धाशमकय ता वास करेगी॥ 14 इसशलये, हे
वप्रयो, जब कक तुम इि बातों की आस िेखते हो तो
यत्न करो कक तुम शाक्न्त से उसके साम्हिे
निटकलींक और निदोष ठहरो।
13 But according to His promise we are looking
for new heavens and a new earth, in which
righteousness dwells.
14 Therefore, beloved, since you look for these
things, be diligent to be found by Him in
peace, spotless and blameless, Ch 3
