1. What do hackers break in to the most? Hackers have been increasingly making the news for stealing information from a number of large companies. For this learning activity, read Verizon’s latest Data Break Investigations Report. As you are reading the report, do the following: 1. List the targets of hackers and how many report incidents there were. 2. Determine which of these incidents were of the greatest concern to consumers. 3. Create various ideas for how you can protect yourself from hackers seeking to gain access to information you have shared with organizations. QUESTION 1 Compare and contrast male and female gang members. Why do these differences exist? QUESTION 2 Determine the family and school risk factors for gang involvement. QUESTION 3 Discuss the three models used to understand the relationship between delinquency and gang involvement. Which do you agree with most? Why? QUESTION 4 Name and explain various juvenile justice responses to the youth gang problem QUESTION 5 What is the prevalence of school violence today? Discuss the steps taken to prevent school violence? QUESTION 6 What are the alternatives police officers have in dealing with juveniles? Do you think amount of discretion give to law enforcement in dealing with youth is appropriate? Explain. QUESTION 7 Distinguish between “traditional” bullying and “cyber” bullying. In ways yet to be seen, cybersecurity has already affected the “agency of the future.” Today, the world is interconnected like never before. As a nation, we must work collaboratively to ensure that cyber defense strategies are robust and effective to secure our way of life. President Obama said during remarks at the White House, “the cyber threat is one of the most serious economic and national security challenges we face as a nation” and that “America’s economic prosperity in the 21st century will depend on cybersecurity.” Throughout his tenure, President Obama has directed agencies to conduct a thorough analysis of the Federal Government’s efforts to protect data, information, communication and critical infrastructure.
