1) Jesus sought to remind people of what they already knew about God and correct misunderstandings, rather than impart completely new information. He used common language and examples from everyday life to help people understand spiritual truths in a personal way. 2) Jesus taught with authority, drawing from Scripture rather than quoting other teachers. He offered himself and explained that God's kingdom is more important than human efforts. People must repent and believe to receive new life and enter God's kingdom. 3) Jesus was fully human but also divine, equal to God.
