information of system technology

Now I tell about
Information system technology

 Information Systems is an academic study of
systems with a specific reference to information and
the complementary networks of hardware and
software that people and organizations use to collect,
filter, process, create and also distribute data.
What is information system



 The Association for Computing Machinery defines
Information systems specialists as focusing on
 Information technology solution
 Business process
 And other enterprise
OVER VIEW

Components of IST

1. Hardware: The term hardware refers to machinery. This category includes
the computer itself, which is often referred to as the central processing unit
(CPU).
2. Software: Computer programs are machine-readable instructions that direct
the circuitry within the hardware parts of the system to function in ways that
produce useful information from data.
3. Data: Data are facts that are used by programs to produce useful
information. Like programs, data are generally stored in machine-readable
form on disk or tape until the computer needs them.
4. People: Every system needs people if it is to be useful. Often the most
overlooked element of the system are the people,
5. Feedback: it is another component of the IS, that defines that an IS may be
provided with a feedback (Although this component isn't necessary to
function)
Explain of component

 Information System Technologies Inc. is pointed the
commercialization of low-cost, low-power
distributed
 sensor networks for applications such as locating
gunshots, locating impact sites of explosively formed
projectiles tracking of ground and unmanned aerial
 vehicles traffic monitoring, personnel tracking and
security systems.
BASIC OF IST

TRACKING

 Communication – with help of information technologies the instant
messaging, emails, voice and video calls becomes quicker, cheaper and
much efficient.

advantage
Globalization and cultural gap – by implementing information
systems we can bring down the linguistic, geographical and some
cultural boundaries. Sharing the information, knowledge,
communication and relationships between different countries,
languages and cultures becomes much easier.

Creation of new types of jobs – one of the best advantages
of information systems is the creation of new and interesting jobs.
Computer programmers, Systems analyzers, Hardware and
Software developers and Web designers are just some of the many
new employment opportunities created with the help of IT.
Helping on others -such systems can also play an
important role in helping companies to put greater emphasis on
information technology in order to gain a competitive advantage.

Dis advantage
Security issues – thieves and hackers get access to identities and
corporate saboteurs target sensitive company data. Such data can
include vendor information, bank records, intellectual property and
personal data on company management.
Dominant culture – while information technology may have
made the world a global village, it has also contributed to one
culture dominating another weaker one.
