Daylight
The St. Petersburg Marine project is a 48 building mixed use devel-
opment spread over 1.5 square kilometers on the shore of the Baltic
Sea. RWDI was retained to provide microclimate consulting services
related to snow drifting and also the availability of daylight at the
building facades. This report focusses solely on the results of the
daylight availability analysis.
The site is directly exposed to the Baltic Sea to the west and south.
A harbour is located to the north of the development, and low- and
mid-rise residential buildings prevail to the east.
