• 4/11/2012: Board Directs Admin to Develop a
Community Stakeholder Group
• 5/17/2012: Community Stakeholder Group’s
First meeting
• 9/17/2012: After reviewing projections,
finances, and facilities, the Community
Stakeholder Groups ask for the Board’s
permission to research support for a
referendum. Board approves unanimously.
• 10/23/2012: School District holds information
session
4. Process
• 11/2012: Community-wide survey.
Community Stakeholder Group completes full
analysis of results.
• 12/2012 Community Stakeholder Group
develops recommendations for the BOE that
include costs, amortization, legal resolutions.
• 1/6/2013: Board considers Community
Stakeholder Group’s recommendation.

• 83% felt we should plan for building upgrades
• 77.55% felt it important to take advantage of
historically low interest rates.
• 70.37% felt they would support a referendum
in some form

Acquisition for Greenspace and Parking

maintenance of the new building space.
7. Our Kids: A great place for kids to learn. An
attractive school for new residents.
