3. Territorial intelligence We know define territorial intelligence as the science which object is sustainable development and the subject is territorial community. Its domains are knowledge, information, indicators, methods, governance and tools. Before ENTI, the European Network of Territorial Intelligence, Catalyse method wanted to provide to local actors methods and tools to develop a global approach – multi-sectors and multidisciplinary – of territory, based on participation and development partnerships. About thirty Catalyse partnerships are the roots of ENTI.

4. caENTI Action Coordination ENTI was supported from March 2006 to February 2009 by the 6th research program of the European Union, under the theme "Citizenship and governance in a knowledge society . caENTI reached its overall objective that was to integrate current research projects on tools of territorial intelligence to give them a European dimension. From Catalyse experiences it made a solid trunk and urged research and dissemination activities that ENTI will continue.

5. ENTI ENTI, European Network of Territorial Intelligence, gathers researchers and actors who carry out sustainable development activities across the territories. Since caENTI, ENTI organized areas of research, then research and dissemination activities. It suggested to answer the last call for projects of the 7 th research program of the European Union in Activity 8.2: “Combining economic, social and environmental objectives in a European perspective – Paths towards sustainable development”

6. ENTI Research areas The board of ENTI defined three research axes: [Territory + transition ] Territory as place and territorial intelligence as mean of the socio-ecological transition and combination of economic, social, environmental and cultural objectives of sustainable development. [Indicators] Accessibility of territorial indicators of the sustainable development, methods and tools of indicators analysis [Governance] Territorial governance for sustainable development and three transversal topics: [Vulnerability] Vulnerability of territories and vulnerable populations [Culture] The culture as fourth objective of the sustainable development of territories [Gender] Gender and sustainable development of territories

BOZZANO in Latin America is on course with researchers from various disciplines in Europe and Canada. <Research> Survey on research team concerned by territory in Europe was extended to Mercosur and Canada [Indicators] activities <webmapping> Database of useful and accessible territorial indicators with a webmapping tool, at statistical and action level <data> How to complete indicators with gathered data <tics> territorial intelligence community systems, a territorial information system actors oriented. <modelling> modelling of the tics <catalyse> Development of catalyse information, tools and uses to gather data on people, services an contextual indicators : guide, pragma and anaconda, repertory, territorial indicators system

9. [Transition] Combination of is not only a partial juxtaposition, but an intimate and equilibrated association between objectives. Combination suggest a global objective : well being in place of speculation, and the redefinition of the function of job, activity, in well being. Transition is not an actual reality or a process in course; it’s a real challenge in a very short time. We only know the bad convergence of crisis since the 70’s. The challenge is on social and environmental side. Combination and transition will also be made at individual and territorial levels.
