4. DSP BlackRock MIP Fund (Scheme)*: How does it work?
The Scheme is an open ended income scheme, seeking to generate income, consistent with prudent risk, from a portfolio
which is substantially constituted of quality debt securities. The Scheme will also seek to generate capital appreciation by
investing a smaller portion of its corpus in equity and equity related securities of issuers domiciled in India
Debt^ and Money Market Securities (75% -100%)
– This part of the portfolio is invested in a basket of fixed income instruments
– Investment in instruments that could provide superior risk-adjusted returns
Equity and Equity Related securities (0%-25%)
– The remaining proportion of money after investing in debt is allocated to equity and equity related securities
– This will be an actively managed portfolio of high conviction trades with a focus on value
