AGE GROUP GIVE IT 7.5 OUT OF 10. MORE THAN ADVERAGE WHICH IS A GOOD RATING !!

like nature and snowy
climates.
Purpose: The purpose the documentary is
to inform the audience what's the life of a
mammal is like. And learn about the life
style as a tiger.
Representation:
Its produced by David Attenborough and he has produced
many other nature documentaries people love to watch. !As
IMDB give the series 9.2 star rating.

`BBC`s Life Of Mammals`. Is an

Narrative: The story is based on a tiger

about them and how they live day to day

promote the product fairy Liquid. The advert
is to persuade women who do the dishes to
STOP and use something even better so
there dishes are not just clean but… squeaky
clean.

`Fairy Liquid`. Is commensal.
Narrative: The narrative of the
advertisement is to promote the product
Fairy Liquid . The story is about a little girl
and her mummy ,who is the house wife, are
doing the dishes. She tells her little girl to
touch her hands as they are so soft from the
Fairy Liquid.
Representation: It set in a house with a
mum and daughter who play the roles of an
actress and daughter, Like in real day to day
life style. Also the background music is very

CAMERAWORK
FRAMING OF DIFFERENT SHOTS
The clip of the film `final investigation` gave a
snippet of what its like to be in the shoes of
the character. By using different shot types it
gives the scene more of an effect.
In this clip of the film it uses a close up to zoom, in to into the main characters facial
expressions, by doing that you can see if they look sad, happy or angry…
when putting the camera underneath the characters face (low angle shot) it makes the
person look small and timid. As when the camera is looking down at someone (high angle
shot) it makes the person feel small and intimidated.
When using the point of view shot it makes you feel your in the shoes of the character
and feel emotionally attached to the role of the character and

This is aimed towards both male and female audience who is appealed to by the stars featured in the film. i.e. Harrison Ford and Karen Allen Fictional films Purpose: of the film is that film sends out the message to entertain the audience. Because it has lots of sound effects which makes the movement of each character exaggerated. The music in the film in the background helps the film flow … this includes the speed of the music if its going slow or fast, or the pace of the music witch builds up the tension .Genre: The genre of the film ‘Indiana Jones And The Raiders Of The Lost Ark`. Is adventure and action . Narrative: The story is based on a plot on a hero goes on a quest for treasure. This is a linear structured film. This represented in first and third person. Stars And Representation: are hero and heroine representing male and female stereotypes
  • 9. FACTUALDOCUMENTARY BBC`s Life Of Mammals (2002) Target Audience: Is aimed towards people who loves mammals and have an eye for documentaries. Especially the worlds most powerful predator the tiger and their life style. As it involves tigers most of the popularity would watch it if they love tigers! It can also can aim towards people who like nature and snowy climates. Purpose: The purpose the documentary is to inform the audience what's the life of a mammal is like. And learn about the life style as a tiger. Representation: Its produced by David Attenborough and he has produced many other nature documentaries people love to watch. !As IMDB give the series 9.2 star rating. Genre: The genre of the documentary `BBC`s Life Of Mammals`. Is an adventure. Narrative: The story is based on a tiger and facts about there life ,learn facts about them and how they live day to day life.
  • 10. PROMOTIONAL TV ADVERTISEMENT FairyLiquid(1991) Target Audience : is aimed at house wife's who wash the dishes . As in the 1990s men only had to go to work and women had to stay home and do chores, in this case the dishes . So by using a female to in the advert it would promote the product fairy Liquid even more ! Purpose: The purpose of the advert is to promote the product fairy Liquid. The advert is to persuade women who do the dishes to STOP and use something even better so there dishes are not just clean but… squeaky clean. Genre: The genre of the TV advertisement `Fairy Liquid`. Is commensal. Narrative: The narrative of the advertisement is to promote the product Fairy Liquid . The story is about a little girl and her mummy ,who is the house wife, are doing the dishes. She tells her little girl to touch her hands as they are so soft from the Fairy Liquid. Representation: It set in a house with a mum and daughter who play the roles of an actress and daughter, Like in real day to day life style. Also the background music is very

  • 12. CAMERAWORK FRAMING OF DIFFERENT SHOTS The clip of the film `final investigation` gave a snippet of what its like to be in the shoes of the character. By using different shot types it gives the scene more of an effect. In this clip of the film it uses a close up to zoom, in to into the main characters facial expressions, by doing that you can see if they look sad, happy or angry… when putting the camera underneath the characters face (low angle shot) it makes the person look small and timid. As when the camera is looking down at someone (high angle shot) it makes the person feel small and intimidated. When using the point of view shot it makes you feel your in the shoes of the character and feel emotionally attached to the role of the character and
